I was greeted at the desk by the most wonderful lady who had a remarkable smile. I explained that I was visiting from Atlanta and my son that’s 16 was attending Stanford University. “I really love Acura Honda Connection - my partner & I used to take our old blue Honda Fit here. These guys are knowledgeable, kind, honest, and friendly - and if you're clueless about cars like me, they'll give you solid advice so you don't get over-charged. And they're so professional, they educate you without talking down to you or making you feel stupid. They even provided a loaner car for us when they worked on our bumper last year!
The only thing is... I'm very sad they don't do body work anymore!!! I took my Civic today for help on my front bumper spoiler lip, and was devastated to hear the news that they've transitioned out of that line of work in the last couple months to focus solely on auto repair/tune ups/maintenance/brakes/muffler/exhaust stuff like that. I completely understand why - working with insurance companies and parts acquisition and limited space in the shop can create an unruly beast for the owners to wrestle with. I respect that - the owners should do what's best for the shop and the team after all.
I also appreciate the guys taking time to chat with me and assess my issue anyway to give me some advice on what to do next. Like I said, the team here always does their best to equip you with knowledge to get your car in tip-top shape. Joey pointed me to a guy he trusts to do good work, levelled with me about price, and then before I left he even got on the ground and cut off the lingering, shredded remnants of my spoiler-lip so it stopped scraping against my wheels and getting caught in the wheel well. That small act enables me to actually drive my car around for a day while I find a new body shop! He didn't need to do that, but he did out of the kindness of his heart, and that's the kind of thoughtfulness I'm looking for in an auto shop - people who give you peace of mind and get you to keep moving through a stressful situation.
How could I ever find that level of trust and attention to detail in another shop!? Anyway, thanks for all the great advice and work the past couple years, guys.

I recently got my front bumper fixed at Ben’s Autobody. He ordered all OEM parts and got it fixed and back to being a brand new car. The parts costed a lot more than he had quoted but he did not take a penny over the original price that he had discussed. A true gem of a person.

“I highly recommend SJ Customs. John the owner installed a Dakota digital dash in my 86 El Camino and it works perfectly. He even got the fuel gauge working without having to replace the sending unit which would've required him to drop the tank, so that really saved me $$. Next he removed all the surface rust from the undercarriage, and then painted it. It looks better than new. He also noticed that my front brakes were missing the wheel bearing dust caps, so he had some on hand, and installed them. Thank you for everything John! I will be back soon.”

“Through a recommendation from a friend I decided to check it out for my rocket panel.
At first, I received a cheaper quote because we thought most of it was going to be repairable and not a whole new piece. After a day working on it, I receive a text and photos why that isn’t the case anymore and asked if I could approve them ordering a whole new piece.
Done, repainted, and came to a car that’s been washed! Great service. Kim (his wife) was also helpful via text.”
