“I visited two Sixt branches this morning in San Francisco, the Fremont Hotel location and the SFO Airport branch.
At the Fremont Hotel, I didn’t receive the car I was supposed to get, and at SFO Airport I experienced terrible service, far below any acceptable standard.
Later, I arrived at the San Jose Airport branch, and the difference was unbelievable. The service here was so good it made me forget everything that happened earlier. Everything went smoothly, and for the first time today, I truly felt that the staff cared about the customer, not just about finishing their shift and going home.
Big shoutout to the San Jose Airport team, they turned a really frustrating morning into a great experience. These guys deserve real credit for their professionalism, patience, and positive attitude. Honestly, this is how customer service should be done.”

“I've been a member of Club Sportiva for several years. I tried the car detailing service for the first time while I had one of their cars out for the weekend. They took my 2021 M3 back to the shop after delivering me one of the club cars to detail it. I have to say they did an amazing job. Better than the detail service I use in the North Bay for about the same money. I think I'll do it every time I take a car out now. If I lived in the area it would be my goto place to get my car detailed.”

Truck wasn't there, only because the one I was supposed to get has a broken sun visor. I wouldn't have cared but they did and went and got me a new truck. Keep me posted the whole time on the eta. “My review is a little late, but I've rented from this location 5 times now and have never gotten bad service. The cars I've gotten were all cleaned on the inside and drove without any issues. Typically for my rentals, I am traveling from NorCal to SoCal then back to NorCal. The fact that all the rentals I've gotten from this location has not given me any issues, I will be renting from this location more often.Leo was the person who has helped me a lot of times and he was able to answer any and all questions I have about the rental. Pick up and drop off are always easy for me. The mall itself isn't busy, so it makes picking up my rental a lot quicker than other locations. Not only that, extending rentals last minutes was as easy as just modifying my reservation online, no questions asked.I'm also a person who likes comparing prices and based off the few locations in San Jose, I've always gotten better pricing here than compared to the booking at the Airport. Thank you for everything Leo, I will most definitely be coming back to rent more from this location! ^w^”

“I was unsure going here after seeing the reviews. But it looks like it's under new management. Andy is very friendly and helpful, and was able to get me a great truck to rent for the weekend (no way my SUV could fit the things I needed). It sounds like after COVID they had a lot of trouble getting up and running because of a lack of trucks especially - funny enough this is exactly what most people complain about!I'll definitely be back because new management under Andy is great. Most of this stuff comes down to who runs the place and Andy does great. I'm all for supporting local business owners and it's clear Andy's been hard at work trying to fix the reputation here :)I've only ever had trouble renting from Budget (or Avis?) when I try to do something last minute. My recommendation would be to try and book in advance as much as possible - and to be flexible if you're going to book last minute!”

Picking up at the airport (San Francisco) and returning the car to a local Hertz site is so convenient. I’ve rented from other companies and nobody comes close to the overall experience of renting from Hertz.”

“EDIT: I ended up not being a fan of the polestar I rented, Anthony and Kathy made my experience better. The long wait was apparently due to unexpected short staffing and these two tried their hardest.
Man in the front was nice but had to micromanage the guy with the afro in the back. I am still waiting here after 30 minutes and only one person was helped. Hopefully the car I get will be decent.”

“Needed a rental car last minute at the San Jose airport. I prepaid on the app when I got to the rental counter everything was very smooth and efficient. The gentleman that helped me was nice and professional whole process took about 15 minutes. The car was beautiful and clean, and in great condition, I even received an upgrade at no cost. Total cost for the rental for 2 1/2 days Was appropriately priced in my opinion. I will use them again .”
