“David did my ADU and honestly I couldn’t be happier. I had a vision of exactly what I wanted but wasn’t sure how it would all come together. The final result came out even better than I imagined.”

“I recently started going down the EDC rabbit hole and was looking for a Benchmade knife. I first stopped by an army surplus store, but it felt like they were annoyed anytime I asked to see something. Then I came to William Cutlery and wow, completely different experience. They had the biggest selection of Benchmade knives I’ve seen in person, including all the models I had been looking at online. Being able to actually hold them and compare them in hand made all the difference, and I ended up finding the perfect one for me. On top of that, the price was actually lower than the Benchmade website. Super helpful service, great selection, and a really welcoming experience. I’ll definitely be coming back.”

“As a general contractor, I’ve had a great experience working with Anthony at Bruno’s Tile. They offer a wide range of product options, and Anthony is extremely knowledgeable and supportive, especially when it comes to specialty materials and technical questions. Fernando also helped me purchase a complete Schluter waterproofing system. Their pricing was better than Home Depot, and their warehouse pickup service was very convenient. Overall, I’m very happy with their product selection, competitive pricing, and excellent service. I highly recommend Anthony, Fernando, and Bruno’s Tile!”

“We recently had our garage converted into an ADU, and we’re so happy we chose this team. Idan and Kelly were amazing to work with from start to finish. They were always easy to reach, kept us informed, and made sure everything stayed on track. The whole project went smoother than we expected. You can tell the team really cares about doing things the right way. Our new ADU looks incredible and has completely transformed the space.”

“We had a wonderful experience working with Richard and the team at PHD. What I appreciate most about Richard is that he is genuinely honest and puts the customer's interests first. Richard never tries to sell you the most expensive product. He listens to what you actually need and gives straightforward advice—even when that means telling you to buy something somewhere else. For example, PHD carries beautiful high-end toilets, but since this was for a rental property, I wanted one with a standard seat that could easily be replaced. Richard actually recommended that I look at Home Depot because their toilets have standard replacement seats. I really appreciated that he was focused on finding the right product rather than simply making a sale. Richard was also extremely helpful working with Cari and me on fixtures for the bathrooms and kitchen. Cari, who works for our general contractor, was wonderful to work with and has excellent taste. Together they helped us with color matching and selecting products that balanced beauty, quality, and durability for a rental property. We also absolutely love the PHD cabinets. The construction is noticeably better than inexpensive cabinets. One detail that impressed us is the interlocking construction used to secure the drawer fronts, rather than relying on a few small nails. We recently had a drawer in our own home fall off because it was attached with tiny nails, so my husband was especially impressed when he examined the solid construction of the PHD cabinets. This is the kind of quality that may not be obvious in a showroom but makes a big difference after years of daily use. Unfortunately, our flooring experience was very different. We initially ordered our SPC flooring through PHD, but our general contractor, George, owner of Elevated Edge Construction, cancelled the order because he wanted to move the flooring business to Flooring Outlet & More, a company owned by his buddy Hassan. Our experience with Flooring Outlet & More was extremely frustrating. Despite paying well in advance, they knowingly delivered the wrong-color SPC flooring and told us it was “close enough.” We were also told that getting the correct product would mean a one-month delay. When I called Hassan, he literally asked, **“Do you have one month to wait?”** It felt like an attempt to pressure us into accepting something we didn't want because we were on a tight construction schedule. We refused and made it clear that we wanted a refund if they couldn't provide what we ordered. Only after we stood firm did they bring the correct flooring, which apparently had been in the shop all along. This experience made us appreciate PHD and Richard even more. When you're spending substantial money on a remodel, having someone honest, conscientious, and genuinely focused on your interests is incredibly valuable. We are very happy with what PHD delivered. Richard was knowledgeable, responsive, honest, and customer-focused, and Cari was wonderful to work with on the design and finish selections. **If you want honest advice—even when that advice means buying something somewhere else—I highly recommend Richard and PHD.**”

“After dealing with a long-standing warranty issue with some of my Rohl fixtures via emails and not achieving any results, I finally decided to stop by SplashWorks in Willow Glen in person. As it turned out, the person I had intended to speak with to get things resolved was off that day, and I had the good fortune of meeting Tino instead. What a blessing in disguise! Tino was incredibly polite, courteous, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to helping. He took the time to understand the situation, immediately took ownership, and followed through every step of the way. Thanks to his efforts, the replacement parts were ordered and delivered, and a matter that had been lingering for quite some time was finally resolved. Thank you, Tino, for turning a frustrating experience into a positive one and restoring my faith. SplashWorks is fortunate to have you on their team, and I highly recommend working with him.”

“As the owner of Nor Cal Accent Walls, I work with a lot of different vendors and fabricators, and LA Marble & Granite has consistently exceeded my expectations. We’ve now partnered with them on three different projects, and every experience has been outstanding. Rolando is an incredible owner who truly cares about quality and customer satisfaction. His professionalism, communication, and willingness to tackle challenging projects make him a pleasure to work with. Orlando is equally impressive—he handles the templating with exceptional precision and attention to detail. His thoroughness gives us confidence that every installation will fit perfectly. What really sets this team apart is their ability to make the impossible possible. Some of our custom accent wall and fireplace designs require unique stone solutions, and they’ve never backed down from a challenge. Their craftsmanship, problem-solving skills, and commitment to excellence have helped us bring some amazing designs to life. It’s hard to find trade partners you can trust completely, and LA Marble & Granite is one of those rare companies. We truly value our partnership and look forward to many more successful projects together. We highly recommend Rolando, Orlando, and the entire team to anyone looking for top-quality stone fabrication and outstanding service.”

“Michelle and Lucy were very nice and understanding. They were helpful when I had an issue. The lead man that moves slabs around is argumentative and completely unprofessional. He has no respect or professional boundaries with clients. I was afraid for my safety at one point. Apparently this is not a new thing for him and I hope they will take care of it. Thank you Michelle and Lucy.”

“We got our vanity and vanity top from Deco. My installer actually did all the shopping and bought them for me since we were busy finishing up our renovation. I’m so glad he found this place—I just wish we had known about it earlier! They’ve got a nice showroom with a lot of cabinets, countertops, sinks, and other stuff to check out in person. Prices are pretty reasonable, and everyone there seemed friendly and not pushy at all, which I really liked. Like others mentioned, the quality can vary a bit depending on the item, so it’s worth taking a close look before buying—but honestly, that’s the same with most places. We were on a budget and checked out a bunch of stores, and Deco ended up being one of the better ones overall. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re remodeling or just shopping around for ideas.”

“We have ordered the kitchen cabinets from Demetra. That was our third order within the last 10 years, the previous two were for the bathroom vanities. What I like about Demetra is European contemporary design and quality which is rare to find. For this order I worked with Tara, whose help with the design and selection was invaluable, and thanks to her and Demetra team we were able to make our dream come true. I didn't experience any delivery problems and picked the cabinets my self.”

Installation includes fitting the new door, adjusting hinges, installing hardware, and ensuring smooth operation. Compared with worn or damaged doors, a replacement creates a cleaner appearance while improving functionality. Proper measurements and finishing details contribute to a polished result. “I had a great experience here. We ordered quite a few Mexican tiles. I looked high and low online for the tiles, and everyone had a 6 to 12 week lead time. I ordered all the tiles I wanted at Tile Depot, and they showed up in three days. Some of the tiles I ordered did not line up with each other when we tried to repeat the pattern. They exchanged them without any fuss and even did a rush order so we could get them installed. Customer service without outstanding. I’ll be ordering from them again.”
