The Tech Interactive is a family-friendly science and technology center located in downtown San Jose. It offers hands-on activities, experimental labs, and design challenge experiences that encourage creativity, curiosity, and innovation. The center is known for its immersive STEAM education resources, aimed at developing problem-solving skills for the next generation. Visitors can enjoy exhibits like a roller coaster simulator, giant projections on environmental impacts, and the human body exhibition. The facility features an IMAX theater, exhibition rooms, and a shop with fun science-related items. It is especially suitable for children aged 5 and older, although some exhibits may feel a bit dated. The museum can get crowded with school groups, which sometimes makes it difficult for kids to interact with displays freely. Parking validation is available, and some visitors appreciate free entrance through programs like Bank of America's “Museums on Us.” Overall, The Tech Interactive provides a fun and educational experience for children and adults alike, emphasizing the idea that everyone is born an innovator capable of changing the world.
It's very nice, there is an Imax room, and exhibition rooms, and at the exit a shop, with fun things related to science.

Really nice museum. I think the children will get the most out of it, but adults can also have some good experiences here. I especially liked human body exhibition.
We were there for free with Bank of America “Museums on Us” program. No problems at all.

Great place to take the kids for a day, it's geared towards older kids though as science is the focus here but fun nonetheless and iMax theater was also fun.
