“Always a great time at AxeVentures! Whether its your first time, or you're a returning guest, the kind and knowledgeable staff members always walk you through the proper one and two handed techniques before your session begins. Once you feel confident with those, ask them about underhanded throws as well! They're more than happy to teach, and its that much more fun when you have different ways to throw. They also offer knife throwing, and bleeding targets for extra little bits of fun. Great for individuals or larger groups as they have at least 9 lanes, and fun table games if some party members don't feel like throwing. I could go on and on. I love AxeVentures!”

“My fiancé and I are from the East Bay, about an hour and a half away from the venue. Unfortunately, the commute would have been difficult for our family, so we didn't have our wedding there. But we completely fell in love with the venue the moment we arrived for our tour which is why we had to leave a review to share our experience. The staff was amazing—friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful. The view was breathtaking, the lighting and atmosphere of the venue made it even more beautiful.

Tiffany, our coordinator, truly made the experience even better! During our initial consultation, she walked us through the different packages so clearly, explaining every detail and answering all of our questions (we had a lot of questions). She went above and beyond to support us in the process- She created multiple proposals to help fit within our budget and took the time to thoughtfully address every concern we had, always offering helpful solutions.

Even though we weren’t able to have our wedding here, we had such a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this beautiful venue to anyone considering it.”

Its white walls did wonders with the light throughout the day, from bright sun to golden hour. This venue is perfectly modern and chic for a luxury wedding. The staff was responsive and kind. “They're very ambiguous to when buckets are out D: We came for the kids age 4-5 on a weekday Friday after Christmas. The 930/10am session did not have buckets. The one following at 12pm did. Online it says they have it on weekdays, but ultimately they use their discretion based on number of reservations maybe.”

“Recently, we watched the new ballet nutcracker performance at California theater. The theater is iconic with nice view of the stage from the balcony area. The ballet show by itself was decent with reflections from city of San Jose early days with emphasis on Owen Electric tower, and building up in the second half. The show was about 2+hrs with an intermission. The food and drink offerings are ok with reasonable pricing for this iconic theater. The photography was restricted for a good reason during the show. Overall an Ok experience.”

“This place did a wonderful job putting together a beautiful wreath for my friend’s mom’s funeral. I cannot recommend this place enough. The arrangement was amazing and we got such a great flowers for the price we paid. They definitely went above and beyond.”

“SAP Center has been part of the San Jose playbook for what feels like forever. I've caught Sharks games, Harlem Globetrotters games, and even concerts here going way back. If these walls could talk, they'd probably have some pretty wild stories to tell.

The venue still does a solid job hosting big events. Sightlines are good, the energy is usually on point, and there's always something happening that brings the crowd to life. Whether you're there for hockey, hoops, or a concert, it's a fun night out.

Just don't show up hungry and financially vulnerable. Food, drinks, and parking can hit harder than a Sharks body check. It's arena pricing, so nobody should be shocked, but your wallet might still need a postgame ice pack. Overall, it's a dependable venue that continues to deliver a good time.”

“I've been a member of Club Sportiva for several years. I tried the car detailing service for the first time while I had one of their cars out for the weekend. They took my 2021 M3 back to the shop after delivering me one of the club cars to detail it. I have to say they did an amazing job. Better than the detail service I use in the North Bay for about the same money. I think I'll do it every time I take a car out now. If I lived in the area it would be my goto place to get my car detailed.”

“Reclining seats w/personal swinging tables. Bathrooms were clean and the pizza was really good, I don’t normally aim to eat meals at the movies but it’s how my day worked out. The pizza was fresh and better than other Cinemark locations I’ve tried before.”

“Nice room for small to moderate gatherings. We were here for a st Patrick's day dinner. The room is a long hall with folding tables & chairs, so it can be set up in different configurations. There's a kitchen onsite and a bar area.”

“Their Rummage sales are fun to shop at, especially when they are doing clearance prices! I got a beautiful wool runner rug for $25 instead of $245.00! If you love the thrill of a bargain and enjoy rummaging through secondhand items this is a great place. They’ll post on Craigslist the week of their sale, which is always on a Saturday. Parking can be a bit tight. The gravel lot usually has a bit more room for backing up to leave.”

“Ive been to several conventions at this center and having hotels and parking connected to the center itself is very convenient. It’s in a short walking distance to the other hotels in the area and to several places to eat that cater to different tastes and preferences. The layout of the convention center itself is cohesive and is easy to navigate.”

“I had never been here before, but came for my friend's Rehearsal dinner. It was the perfect size for what we needed -- there is a stage and a side room which made it great to do buffet style. They did have some house rules (example- no open flame) which made a tradition unable to do but we had some great improvisation (used a flameless candle).”

“Good place to rent for big parties, lots of parking space, there’s only one downside, there’s 2 entrances but one of theme it is hard to see from the big avenue and it is kind of dangerous the entrance / exit, overall it is a good place with a nice installations.”

The venue is spacious, well-maintained, and offers excellent seating with a clear view of the stage from multiple levels. The acoustics and lighting added a lot to the overall concert atmosphere, making the performance feel really immersive.
The auditorium was organized well, and despite the large crowd, the event felt smooth and comfortable. The seating layout and stage visibility were especially impressive, and the whole place gave a premium feel. A great venue for live performances and musical events.
Would definitely recommend this auditorium for concerts and other large performances.”

“For some reason I've only been to a few events at this convention center, maybe that's part of my reluctance to give five stars. Overall, it seems to be a regular Civic convention center, with the confusing layout internally and many ways to chop it up for events of different sizes.

As a union supporter, I appreciate how convention center like this support union labor, and I suspect the outrageous prices for food, water bubblers, etc. is the management building a profit margin on the requirement to use the convention center staff and services - the markup on food etc. gets blamed on the union, which serves management just fine.”

“Fast, economical and convenient 9 hole course that is reasonably well maintained. The place has a driving range as well. The course does not have a restaurant instead they have some snacks and drinks for purchase at the proshop. Overall a decent option for a fast 9 hole play.”

“I had a lovely time at the Tech at Nite: Love Lab this past Thursday, a special adult-only Valentine's event. I mainly just come here for the IMAX dome theater, so this was a nice opportunity to do something different at the venue. Parked at the Convention Center garage for $5 with parking validation at the Tech. Colorful lighting and music set the mood inside, a DJ playing upbeat tunes, and both the lower and upper level were filled with activities for attendees, with minimal wait times for most experiences. We enjoyed wine-tasting with Cooper-Garrod Estate Vineyards, a complimentary glass (or two) offered at one of the tables. We created our own light and art project through a mixture of food coloring, dye, and cooking oils, courtesy of Local Color. We also personalized fragrance sprays with Ashy Aromas (an organization known for customized scented candles). In terms of the museum offerings, a couple of the interactive displays were not in working order, such as in the Space Exploration section. But there was still a lot for us to see and do during our visit. Plenty of hands-on stations, the museum exhibits geared toward kids, with some so simple and straightforward that it would probably only be educational or amusing to very young children. But for this adult-only night, we had fun interacting with the exhibits without any kids around. This included building a more sustainable city, sorting compost, recycling, and trash, and seeing nature-themed graphics emulate our movements in the AI-enabled immersive Dream Garden. The Innovator was cool too, a simulation ride where guests could design and enjoy their own roller coaster adventure. We also engaged in a "doctor and patient communication" activity in the Innovation in Healthcare section. And we checked out the Body Worlds Decoded exhibit, even though I've already seen this in Vegas. The event offered limited food options, but the items we got were delicious, apparently catered by Smashing Dishes. We had the Lover's Grazing Plate, a charcuterie snack (which came with meat, cheese, crackers, nuts, and fruit), Cupid's Caprese (made with yummy pesto and adorable heart-shaped mozzarella), and fresh baked cookies (we wanted both chocolate chip and peanut butter, but they accidentally gave us both chocolate chip). Unfortunately, the candy cocktails were not good, particularly the "love potion #14" on the menu which lacked flavor or any kind of sweetness. Luckily, they also offered canned beverages and wine. All in all, it was a great Vday pre-celebration for me and my bf.”
