“Greeted by a Friendly staff throughout the theater. The facilities were clean and well maintained. In addition to the traditional theater food and snacks, they have wine and other drinks. The theater itself is very clean.”

“Recently, we watched the new ballet nutcracker performance at California theater. The theater is iconic with nice view of the stage from the balcony area. The ballet show by itself was decent with reflections from city of San Jose early days with emphasis on Owen Electric tower, and building up in the second half. The show was about 2+hrs with an intermission. The food and drink offerings are ok with reasonable pricing for this iconic theater. The photography was restricted for a good reason during the show. Overall an Ok experience.”

“Club Sportiva is an amazing place to network with people who share the love for cars, watches, whiskey etc. The event space is great for private/corporate events with awesome food/drinks and catering.”

“Blanco Urban is an ideal wedding venue choice! As a photographer I was blown away by how well the venue photographed. Its white walls did wonders with the light throughout the day, from bright sun to golden hour. This venue is perfectly modern and chic for a luxury wedding. The staff was responsive and kind. Its great to be able to go down to the street and capture chic city photos as well!”

“They're very ambiguous to when buckets are out D: We came for the kids age 4-5 on a weekday Friday after Christmas. The 930/10am session did not have buckets. The one following at 12pm did. Online it says they have it on weekdays, but ultimately they use their discretion based on number of reservations maybe.”

“First up I want to give commend employee Kevin Lara (assuming I was given the correct name by his coworker) b for being so observant, attentive, and polite. We ordered concession food to be brought to our seat and Kevin was the person who delivered it to us. When he brought it, he saw I was struggling to adjust one of the theaters assistive devices for hearing impaired. The display screen was extremely loose and wouldn’t stay in position. He immediately offered to take the defective display back to the front desk and switch it for another device. I was pleased and impressed that he proactively made the offer, because it didn’t occur to me to ask him for help and I would not have taken it back myself because I have my knee in a brace.

As lovely as Kevin was, I am not giving the theatre 5 stars for the following reasons:

*It should not have been necessary to replace the assistive device because I should not have been given one that was broken in the first place. On a previous visit I was give one that was not charged and stopped working about 10 minutes into the film. I love that the theatre offers the devices, but I feel they should be better maintained.

*The seats always reek of perfume that permeates my clothes and adversely affects my breathing. It so bad that I literally wear a hooded rain coat to protect my clothing from contamination, and have even had to resort to wearing a respirator at times. While it’s possible that the scent is from previous patrons, the fact that every seat is affected and it appears to be same scent every time makes me suspect it’s actually a scented cleaning solution or disinfectant, especially since the problem seemed worse during the pandemic when attendance was lower and it was quite bad even at early showings. Using unscented products would be more accommodating to clients with respiratory issues.

*Finally, small issue: We ordered popcorn with layered butter and only the top had butter. The rest of the tub was dry. Very disappointing. The fries were good, though!

All in all, we like this theater very much and generally don’t go anywhere else. The seats are very comfortable, the concession food is always at least adequate, the staff is generally pleasant and helpful (especially Kevin!), and they have films we want to see scheduled at times that work for us. We especially love the online booking for reserved seats and the option to have concession food delivered to the seat prior to the start of the film. All together, it’s a pretty luxurious movie going experience.”

Their commitment to reviving this storied tradition is evident in every sip. The vineyard's picturesque setting provides a perfect backdrop for indulging in their exquisite wines, each bottle a testament to the dedication and passion of the winemakers. They owners also mentioned that the venue was available to be rented out for events.Five stars without a doubt.”

“We had our wedding at the Ranch a few weeks ago and had a great time! It was such a convivence to be able to stay on the property and having our venue here too. There were some unforeseen hiccups but our wedding planner Nico and the owner Chris went out of their way to make sure our event went on as smoothly as possible. “We have been members of the Capital Club for a good while now. We always enjoy the atmosphere. Today, I had the Vietnamese Garlic Noodles with added shrimp. My drink was a Prosecco. I am not a white wine drinker because it gives me headaches but the Prosecco the club serves is one of the best I have tasted.”

“Good place to rent for big parties, lots of parking space, there’s only one downside, there’s 2 entrances but one of theme it is hard to see from the big avenue and it is kind of dangerous the entrance / exit, overall it is a good place with a nice installations.”

“I had never been here before, but came for my friend's Rehearsal dinner. It was the perfect size for what we needed -- there is a stage and a side room which made it great to do buffet style. They did have some house rules (example- no open flame) which made a tradition unable to do but we had some great improvisation (used a flameless candle).”

“Recently had our daughter’s Quinceañera here on 2.22.25 and I’m so glad we found Grace Hall. The owner/pastor John offers packages to help if you also need dj, decor, catering etc. my situation was a bit different as I already had my vendors and had to find a venue to host about 80guests. The space holds up to 200, there’s also an outdoor annex/tent open area included along with a gazebo, and playground for kids! There’s also an attendant to help, a bartender, and security on your day of service. All of this is included and very affordable. It’s perfect for any event, my guests really enjoyed the space as well. Thank you Grace Hall for hosting our daughter’s special day. Happy to know we have a go to event space for future family events.”

“This place is huge, I thought it was pretty cool that the entrance to the Hilton was right there. It makes it very convenient if you're attending an event at the convention center. You can definitely make your steps for the day walking around here. The place itself was clean along with the restrooms. It wasn't all rundown looking.
We had gone here for a lowrider/impala car show. There are definitely a lot of areas for paid parking as well.”

“This place is brand new, clean, well layed out, has fantastic drinks, and bomb music. I’m shocked this place isn’t packed. I hope people catch on to this gem because it’s a wonderful bar/club that just not enough people know about yet. I see tons of club/bars packed with worse music and worse drinks. This place is a wood floored, brick building on the second story of a Michelin star Portuguese restaurant and is worth exploring for anyone looking for an outstanding ambience, music/ DJ set and drink menu. 10/10 I hope more people realize how much of a gem this place is. “This is honestly the nicest Courtyard I've ever stayed in. (And I've traveled A LOT over the years.)Front Desk let me have a late check out and gave me a complimentary drink at the Bistro for breakfast. The room was ACTUALLY CLEAN! The furniture was dated, but in very good condition. For breakfast, I swapped the drink for a breakfast parfait. All of the lobby furniture is functional and CLEAN! All of the staff I met and saw were super nice and polite.Rooms: It was actually clean.Walkability: Target right in the parking lot.Food & drinks: Market and Bistro onsite.”

Parking can be tough, so take public transport or walk a little.”
