“Brought my 1970 Plymouth Road Runner 440+6 to have the power brake booster replaced. I have been coming to Tire outlet on 2nd Street for the past 50 years. They are still in business because they know how treat customers and provide quality services at reasonable prices. Not taking away from the Tire Outlet on Alum Rock because I have been there also and continue to recommend them but John and Jason are great people. I highly recommend this establishment for any repair you can think of as well as the best prices in town for wheels and tires.”

“I've used Louie for servicing my GLK350 a few times and the experience was always great. I made the mistake of taking the car to a mom and pop Mercedes shop for a service B because I was in the area for work and it was convenient. When I picked up the car, I was told the car's engine and transmission mounts needed to be replaced. The car has 105K miles so I expecting to have some replacements needed, but didn't expect this. I left without agreeing to the work and took the car to Advanced Imports the next day for a 2nd opinion and Louie quickly told me it was rare to replace those mounts but he would check it out. His findings were correct and the mounts did not show any signs of needing to be replaced, which was great to hear. Louie saved me a lot of money and headache on this one. The next time my car needs a service, Advanced Imports will be getting a call from me. Appreciate his honesty and professionalism.”

“I should have come here years ago. Troy Schalk was my service manager for years and then he changed to Mercedes Service Center of Silicon Valley. I brought my 350 Ml to the shop and was happily surprised. Not only did they do my major repair for less than I had been quoted elsewhere but found another issue and repair it as well. Great communication and the car runs better than it has in years. If you love your Mercedes this is where you should come.”

“I was going through my 'Car Stuff' folder in my computer while searching for something and came across some un-filed stuff on a Cadillac I own and drive every day. I have the canceled check and invoice for the re-built transmission Puzant at Dale's Transmission did for me back in 2012. The transmission is still purring along perfectly over 9 years later and I calculated that comes to 89¢ per day and each day I drive the car, that goes down. Thanks for the good job Puzant. I always recommend you when someone says they have a tranny problem. I'll include a photo. Maybe you'll remember this car.”
“My trucks fuel pump died on the freeway, AM Auto was very helpful in getting me back on the road. They also helped me replace a few suspension components that were shot. They were honest in what needed replacement and very fair in pricing the labor to get me back in the road even though they could have upcharged me in a bind. “I went today to Dan’s auto repair shop and it’s no longer Dan’s, it’s I believe A+ auto repair shop and a new owner. The bottom line is that the service was absolutely great. I brought my car for replacement of the rear drum type brakes on my 2006 Toyota Camry. Fernando initially quoted $225 for the job however, upon looking at the brakes told me that the brakes are still good and there was no need to replace them, only to clean them which definitely was the case and charged me only $50. Fernando did a really thorough cleaning job. I will definitely use them again ??”
“Aldo at Gearmaster is second to none. AWESOME customer service. He knows transmissions and drivetrain. He's been in the business for decades and is familiar with transmissions ranging from your typical 4 cylinder auto you'd find in a Nissan or Toyota....all the way up to 1000 hp restomod classic cars to big wheel rock crawlers. I work on my own cars and I've sent him regular transmissions as well as high horsepower transmissions. Always exceeded my expectations. He definitely knows his stuff. But what truly sets him apart is he's a cool guy. There are plenty of mechanics out there. Some know their stuff but are jerks. Others prey on people's ignorance and are scandalous. Some are nice but will break your car. Aldo is the exact opposite. He'll give you the best price, be kind, do awesome work, and get it done quickly. If you're looking at this review, then you're shopping for a transmission guy. Look no further, you've found the guy!”

“I used to live next block to MS Auto Service. I went to get my oil changed. It was year end holiday time. I asked the owner (name is Son) will they be working through the holidays. He said his employees need rest, they work hard. That says something good about the owner. Ever since then I goto this auto service shop. One time my car broke and was not able to drive it. I asked geico to tow it to MS auto service . Left the key inside the car. I contacted the owner via phone and let him know that the tow company will drop off the car at his shop. After the drop off, he communicated to me by phone about the repair and costs and fixed it in a day. Then I went and took my car. Very good service price. Reliable. Honest owner.”

“Best and Honest mechanic around. I've known Gustavo for many years and he as always been good to me, my family and friends! My husband and him go as far back as when he had a shop for Amco transmission more than 15 yrs ago, that's how we met him. So that says alot. Since then we've referred everyone we know and they still go see him when a mechanical issue arises. I just recently thought I needed an expensive fuel pump in tank replacement however it ended up being 2 cam shift sensors saving me around $480 and so far all good! I highly recommend you take your vehicle issue down to "All Professional Autos" and let a real honest pro handle it like a friend would. Anything from Transmissions rebuild to a simple oil change. Gus is the man that can!!! ?”

“We recently had to have our 1997 Dodge Ram 3500 Diesel dually towed to Mike's transmissions. It was a Friday around 5:00 pm and we coordinated the tow with Renee who is the new owner of the shop. This was our first experience under the new ownership (Mike sold about 2 years ago). Mike did a rebuild back in 2010 and he is a tough act to follow. Renee was extremely helpful with our urgent situation (the truck was disabled on the side of the road) and she assured us we would have a diagnoses and estimate at the beginning of the week.
The transmission required a total rebuild and we were provided 3 options in her estimate, rebuild, used transmission or new transmission. We decided on the rebuild to include the torque converter.
We met with Henry, Mechanic prior to the commencement of the work and he explained what was wrong and was very thorough in detailing next steps. We were impressed.
Fast forward a week later, we received a comprehensive report with the diagnoses and work performed with a breakdown of the cost. The final price was in range of the estimate and was very fair.
The truck runs fantastic and we also have a 2 year warranty. We can't say enough great things about Renee and Henry and highly recommend this shop!
