“Walt was my hero on a busy Friday Fourth of July weekend right before my vacation.My 2006 Honda Civic broke down at a stop light. While waiting for AAA I called my usual shop to let them know I was coming. They were over booked for a week, and would not let my keep my broken down car at their shop. I was worried. Were all shops going to be like this! It's a Fourth of July weekend, I'm doomed! I had to do a quick search for some place affordable and nearby. Thanks to Google and Yelp searches Walt's kept popping so I took a leap of faith. Margaret answered the phone and gladly said they could see me and take in my car. Needless to say I was pretty stressed out when I was met with a smiling face and a bubbly water. It was a bigger job than expected. A tension pivot bolt had broken in half and was stuck in my engine block, which caused the belt to slip off into my water pump. It would need to be drilled out. It was a matter of if they could do it I'd have my car back, if they couldn't I'd have a very large paperweight. Walt was up for the task and kept it very realistic of all the possibilities that could happen. Nothing sugar coated which I very much appreciated since it allowed me to make a sound choice on what to do next. They took their time, kept in contact with me on every issue they encountered, and all was a success. Excellent customer service, and bonus, I got a key chain. Walt definitely has a new continuing customer. So glad I found his shop.”
