“This store contains great vintage furniture and home decor. It’s nothing like sorting through the Goodwill home goods section. As for the pricing, it’s a bit high but I can tell it’s worth it. There were several items that I would shell out $$$ for. I will return after some time to see what new pieces they have.”

“I went here recently for the first time with my girlfriend after being recommended to come here and it was such a lovely experience! All the items are incredibly cute, the store is set up really nicely too! It was very clean and well organized. although I see some reviews complaining about the price, you can't get cute quality clothing and expect it to match Shein prices. The staff were also very kind. I will definitely be coming here again!”

“Great little sustainable gem in downtown San Jose! Mostly women's clothing with some men's vintage items. All items are hand curated by the owner Araceli who is super nice and helpful. Free two hour parking in the parking garage behind the shop.”

“This place is one of the best thrifting areas I've ever gone to. It's a bit on the smaller side, but it's better than those big thrift stores. Prices are a bit higher, but the items are vintage. They even have changing rooms in there. I like the style of the store. You'll probably find some clothing that could fit kids too, if you search. The clothing is really stylish and it's better than one of those huge thrifting stores. Staff is kind, and patient.”

“Great haul today from my first time here. Hispanic family-run shop with very minimal use of English, and no dressing room--it was an adventure for me to ask to adjust the mirror higher because this tall lady couldn't see my face, and for trying to try on tops while the staff gave me warnings when there were no men in the shop. Very kind and warm staff, if you're willing to go out of comfort zone for great deals! Pair of shoes and 8 like new tops (a few w tags still attached): $50.”

“The ladies were friendly and knowledgeable. I found two vintage cut-glass glasses and a metal carnival horse. They had this cute purse made out of cork. I'm a wine drinker so I thought it was so cute. I want to make my own some day.”

“Movies! This is my first choice. It's spacious, clean, and cheap. I enjoy bringing the kids 1. We get to watch the latest movies and 2. Family time! We have yet to come to the flea market but I'm sure we'll come in the near future. Savio, an employee there, suggested we check it out.”

“In need of something above your budget and a bit cheaper than retail price for middle and upper middle class brands like (h&m, free people, madewell, Lilly Pulitzer, etc) then come here. This store is basically Poshmark version in terms of pricing and minus the shipping fee. I'm not sure this is a good or bad thing. If you think of purchasing stuff on Poshmark, perhaps check out this store first! They have a good jeans selection. Lots of stuff are available in bigger size (medium running up) and not too many size S, XS which is my size (1 star off).Staff looked busy and were pretty nice.”

“I like this store because every time I went there I could find interesting clothes or handbags which are not available in the market anymore. They even have a vintage section which I like a lot. I feel sorry for those previous reviewers who didn't get nice service but for me the staffs I met were nice and helpful.”

“I've only been here to buy, not sell clothes.Every time I stop by Plato's, I find at least one item that I'm excited about. They have all types of brands, ranging from Nike to Brandy Melville to Zara. A lot of great options. They sell everything at a pretty fair price. I highly recommend closely checking your item for stains or tears. Last time I was there, I found a small tear, and they gave me a small discount for it. The caveat is that the item automatically becomes final sale.”
