“I applied for a Merrill Edge stock trading account 2 years ago. I was hesistant at first because of some unfavorable reviews. Instead I have not experienced any problems at all with my stock trading. No problems with the mobile app either. A relatively low account balance earns you 100 free trades per month. No other broker offers that. The Merrill Edge desktop website is fast, highly legible and everything is easy to find whereas TD Ameritrade's desktop website is slow, cluttered and important information is buried deeply, plus you pay $6.95 for all that misery. I will admit TD's mobile app is the best in the business in terms of legibility.”
