“i got a flat tire the other day and was overwhelmed with figuring out the solution since no bigger stores seemed to have my tire in stock and i’d have to order it. the aaa guy who put on my spare recommended this place and said they could likely repair my tire. i stopped by the next day with no appointment and the guys pointed to park in one of the work stalls. they looked at the tire and could tell that i drove on it while flat and it was thus unrepairable (had an emergency to attend to and couldn’t wait for a tow). they asked about brand preference and luckily they had my exact tire in stock! they didn’t tell me how much it’d be but i didn’t ask either and they were able to change it within ten minutes. it ended up being mid range of what i was seeing online, which is totally a good deal given how quick they got everything done. i’m glad to know there’s a reliable tire shop so close to home; would definitely come back for future needs.”

“Mr. Orlando and his crew are awesome. Came to get a wheel alignment he noticed that My tire light was on. I told him that it was the sensor other shops wanted to charge me like $170 for each tire but he said let me check something. He check my spare tire which had five sensors and he said that’s what’s making it low because I needed air and he fixed it. The light went off. I am so appreciated and I believe in God‘s favor. He didn’t try to rip me off took care of the problem without charging me.”

I initially reached out because I was looking to have some major routine maintenance done along with an overall inspection of my Land Rover. My experience started off on a great note with Sherry, who responded to my email inquiry promptly, answered my initial questions, and quickly helped get me scheduled for an appointment.

Martin ended up being my main point of contact and service advisor throughout the repair. What started as routine maintenance ultimately turned into a much larger repair after their inspection uncovered several issues that needed attention. Martin did a great job walking me through what he and the team found, explaining the major concerns, and helping me understand what needed to be addressed. I never felt pressured or left in the dark, which gave me a lot of confidence in trusting them with the work.

The pricing felt fair, and I especially appreciated the transparency and communication throughout the process. They also took the appropriate amount of time with my Land Rover, knowing that the amount of work involved would require the vehicle to be there for a few days. I’d much rather have a shop take their time and do the job correctly than rush through a major repair.

I was so impressed with the overall experience that I ended up bringing my other Land Rover to them as well, and once again, the team took great care of me.

“Larry’s Automotive is a an exemplary automotive service repair shop. Their honesty and integrity are noteworthy.

Our 2025 Subaru had a reminder to get the oil and filter changed even though we were 3,000 miles short of meeting the milage requirement. Subaru recommends getting the service done every 6 months or 6,000 miles which ever comes first.

After dropping our car off at Larry’s, he called and said the car did not need service. He advised getting serviced when the mileage was closer to Subaru’s milage requirement.

“This is an overdue positive response to this local shop that I have patronized for several years. I’m including three other people in this response who do not do social media. Mr. Gomes, his two children, plus the staff are always fair and efficient. They are honest and they are thorough. I completely trust any decisions or suggestions they make about my old Dodge caravan. They keep it running efficiently. Furthermore, both of my friends, Bruce and Ralph, part of the disabled community, come all the way from Berkeley to make sure that their specialized vehicles are well attended to. A recent friend from out of town had to have work done on her vent system on her 96 Toyota. Sandra gave a quote for the fix, and honored that amount, even though it took an additional four hours of time to finally get it repaired. That is a mark of honesty and holding good to one’s word. I recently had my car's A/C replaced, and Lori took the time to explain the entire repair process thoroughly, making sure I understood everything before the work was done.

After the repair, I went on vacation for two months. When I returned, I noticed the A/C wasn't working properly—I had to turn the controls all the way up before it would start cooling. I brought my car back to the shop, and I was pleasantly surprised that Lori remembered me and even asked how my trip had gone.
