B Street Books is a used, rare, collectible, and vintage bookstore. It is an independent bookstore with a large, ever-changing inventory of books in every subject. It features a well-curated collection of vintage, antique, and collectible books, including beautiful editions from presses like Easton Press, the Folio Society, and Franklin Library. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. It is a place to discover hidden gems, gorgeous coffee table books, nonfiction, and the perfect read. If you are looking for something specific they do not have, they may be able to procure it for you. The store buys and sells books by appointment only and does not accept walk-ins or donations. After sixteen years in downtown San Mateo, the store has moved and is now conveniently located at 1471 Burlingame Avenue in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area Peninsula.
