βIt was great. Lots of lots of vendors. Lots of food lenders bought some wonderful kalamata bread and some fresh salmon. They also had another stall with smoked salmon. Everything was excellent. It's very happy. Prices are a little high but I think it's worth it for the quality and the freshness definitely will go backβ
βWe used this Trader Joeβs to pickup flowers for our wedding! Go ahead of time (a few weeks prior) and show photos of your wedding colors. We worked with an amazing associate named Alex who helped order and set aside a full cart of perfect flowers to be picked up the day before our wedding. They even let us take the buckets for transport (about 8 total!)
Both the blooms and the greenery were beautiful. Assembling the bouquets with my bridesmaids was so much fun, and one of my favorite memories of the weekend. It smelled like heaven. We also saved so much money doing it this way!

βThis place is awesome! So many things that you canβt find at most grocery stores, and the fresh food is great. I really liked the loco moco with mochiko chicken - the chicken was flavorful and the serving size was big. The poke was also solid, and the mac salad is a crowd favorite. Very kind service too, and thereβs outdoor seating if you canβt wait to go home to eat your haul.β

βI love love love this produce shop. Everything is so fresh, with fantastic quality and lots of variety despite being a small store. The shop offers a little bit of everything, fruits, vegetables, dairy items, cold cuts, canned foods, fresh bread, coffee, tea, jams, all sorts of flours, pretty much any kitchen staple one could need, and the owners take extra care in their selection. I have never once bought anything from them that didn't taste great or got spoiled quickly. Everything is always at the peak of freshness in this store, and the prices are always fair. I have stopped buying fresh produce and fruits from anywhere else and exclusively shop here.

βThe picked foods in the jars and the produce is fantastic and reasonably priced. The dried fruits and nuts section is fantastic and very competitively priced. Pretty much everything else is overpriced in my opinion. If you go in and shop smart, this place is fantastic.β
βLove their super tacos and quesadillas - not tried anything else sadly at their cafe but I wished I did ! Their food is amazing. I always buy my meat from here. I love their bakery items too - corn bread is amazing !!!!β
βI much rather support a local business rather than a corporate chain. So I have started coming regularly making my purchases of vegetables. The prices are on par to the Safeway on El Camino and they are never busy when I drop by. I've bought my cheeses, 2 types, and beef liver and also chorizo from the meat section and was very pleased with the quality.The taqueria has pleased me three times now. The quesabirrias were very AFFORDABLE and the cook was very generous with both the amount of cheese and meat served; the quesadilla was extremely cheesy; the pupusas queso con frijol were extremely yummy with the sauce and pickled cabbage.β
βI always have such a wonderful experience thanks to Gino. He is incredibly attentive, polite, and professional throughout our interactions. Itβs rare to find someone who truly cares about their customers the way Gino does. He goes above and beyond to make sure I have everything I need and makes the shopping experience smooth.

βDelicious and good quality Russian and Azeri produce and foods. They have wide variety to choose from. A nice and well organized store. My only recommendation is for the service to be more friendly and involved.β
βI went into the store looking for a great wine and found Lake Sonoma Cabernet at a very reasonable price. We absolutely enjoyed this wine and will definitely be back.β
βCame in for simple Garam Masala, but got so much more. The service was top notch - I was greeted and helped through something so simple as just picking up spices and to find out theres a whole world of meats in the back - chefs kiss* Needless to say I'll be back in the futureβ

βLooks nice! The owner offered help when I need, but there was a lot of food I'd never seen, so I thought I need to more learn those for my next visit.Some reviewers here said that they didn't show a food price, but I can now find the cost with food.β
βWe each got a taco platter, so two tacos each--2 chicken, 1 lengua, and 1 al pastor... Tacos were more than decent--they exceeded my expectations. You see, I was led to believe we walked in to El Palenque, so I was excited until I discovered that we were actually somewhere that had only TWO stars, so I was a little nervous... Turns out the lengua was tender and flavorful, and the al pastor was very tasty! Fresh tomatillo salsa was VERY fresh, and the chips were also fresh and very tasty...rice was fluffy, and the beans were rich and well-seasoned...was a relief to see that it was actually pretty good!β
βBest market / taqueria in San Mateo! I stumbled upon this gem while walking back to my car and I was so stoked to have found such good quality food at good pricing and the service there is 10/10! Definitely is coming back!!β
βWhen there's no nighttime public restrooms available in a five mile radius thanks to the destructive nature related to the homeless crisis, Safeway fights back and keeps the restrooms open and clean. I am proud to support this Safeway with my business! We can't let evil win. We must set the example, as this Safeway does, of taking back our cities from those that would destroy them.Thank you so much!β
βWent there for the 1st time on a week night. Didn't have a hard time finding parking even though there are other stores in the plaza. I found what i was looking . Got out and go.β
βPupusas! Cheese, cheese and pork, cheese/pork/beans, chicken and cheese! Choose them all! So delicious! Casual, cafe-style location. Many tables or take to go! Fast service but we ordered online and picked up. Ample parking but don't forget to pay the meter!β
βThis place is a nice little shop on the street corner and it has a lot of nice imports from Hispanic countries. It's right next to San Mateo High School so it's good as an after school spot to pick up a snack or a place to get an energy drink or snack before school.β

If you are in a rush this shop has a wide range of options, and it's a go-to for a quick and tasty sandwich. Fresh ingredients and flavorful combinations make their sandwiches a solid choice. The service is quick and the people there are extremely nice. If sandwiches don't appeal to you they have plenty of other options that look delicious. The sandwich itself isn't out of this world but gets the job done. It is extremely filling and quite nice. They also toast the sandwich if you would like. Overall I would recommend this place if you are in the area.β
βThe supermarket is clean and well organized. The coffee station is located in the front of the store. It is so convenient to grab, pay, and go. The pastries are also located near the front registers. Coffee and the walnut pound cake was perfect. Very fresh produces and meats. Friendly and helpful staff. They have a private parking lot and street parking.β

βI love going to Trader Joe's. It's easy to get what you need and the options are all reasonably priced. They have interesting snacks, beers, and frozen foods. Lots of holiday chocolates too.β
