“My partner and I got our very first Scuba certification (Open Water) at Pacific Wilderness and only have positive things to say! Every single person we came into touch with through their business was knowledgeable, thorough, and super supportive. Everyone from my in-class/pool instructor (Josue), the people who helped me at the shop (Chabo + DJ), and all the dive instructors (Matt, Jacob, Linden, Mark, Andrew, Josh) that assisted us during our first ocean dive were so genuinely kind! You can tell everyone is passionate about diving - they all had such great stories to share. I had challenges and a lot of fear with the mask clearing skills and the instructor was really understanding and patient with me. I felt like we were in good hands the whole time. If you’re thinking about getting your certification or are hesitating going for it, I would definitely recommend coming here! I feel like you’re coming to a community here. We’ll be coming here for all our diving needs!Also, I’m a bargain hunter and I’m pretty sure the prices for all the items they sell in store are the lowest you can buy them compared to anywhere else so that also made me happy :)”

“Torrance Batting Cages is our go to for many baseball purposes including BP in the cages, practices on the turf, and glove repair.
Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable, honest and attentive and the facility is well maintained and cared for.
My youngest was so lucky to be handed down a Nokona glove. We took it to TBC and they relaced and cleaned it up by the next day! There is no where else we will go for our glove care needs.

“I'm so beyond happy there's still a Play it Again Sports and not just any Play it Again Sports but one that sells ice hockey equipment!
Wayyyyy long ago it was because of the Play it Again Sports in Aliso Viejo, Mission Viejo, and San Diego that enabled me to start playing ice hockey at 18 (a sport I could only dream of playing at 12 when the Los Angeles Kings started airing on Prime Ticket back when Gretzky joined).
Now...mannnnnyyy years later, I'm trying to get back into hockey and so is my girlfriend. The fact we could get her gear at a significantly lower price than new prices and also get to try them on is fantastic.
It's well-worth the drive from Long Beach and even if I lived back in south Orange County, I'd make the drive to see what they have in stock.
It's clear most of their ice hockey inventory is from all the tiny kiddos wanting to try ice hockey and be like their hockey heroes - but there's a smattering of inventory for us big, ol' kiddos who want to be like our hockey heroes, too.”
“I had a great experience selecting and purchasing hats here. First of all they have a great selection and everything is very organized. The staff is also very friendly and provided lots of info. “AMAZING experience all around! My friend and I were looking for a place to rent bikes. Lo and behold, Beach Bound Sports came to the rescue. Conveniently located right across from Pier Plaza, Beach Bound has amazing rates, sufficient rental options, and an amazing staff! Xavier was incredibly kind and helpful. We had a problem locking our bikes (user error) and we called the shop and they quickly responded and helped us out! “What a wonderful experience I had. Rembert the store manager was the coolest EVER! He showed interest in converse collection. He showed me some of his cool shoes, as he took interest in my about 70 pair of converse I have. We talked for about 10 minutes. Tori was was very helpful and very nice. If I lived in Long Beach, I would probably be there at least once a week. I'm from Columbus, Ohio. It saddens me to see our location here in Sunbury close. “A warranty is only as good as the company behind it. My son's LAX head broke and it was still under warranty. Submitted a claim to StringKing and it was approved within an hour. “I had some slight difficulty redeeming a partially damaged gift card, but ultimately was able to resolve the situation and everything worked out. The store manager, Darren, reached out via email as well and was very nice about the situation.
You can of course try on shoes in store. Or, if you are buying a certain pair of shoes on repeat like myself, you can also order via their website/Square. My order was fulfilled pretty quickly and I was satisfied with my most recent shoes, the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 24.
I've also gone on and off to the VR running group that meets Tuesdays outside of the RB store -- they're a great crowd and very welcoming.”

You can find all the current styles of name brand shoes(Nike, Adidas, etc.) The prices are on par with all other major retailers like Foot Locker, Champs. They also sell sports merchandise, like team hats, tees or jerseys. All the associates here are nice and helpful. And they have lots of inventory.”
