He offered me a discount for being a new Nike member so I really appreciated that! I am very satisfied with my overall experience!”

“I'm so beyond happy there's still a Play it Again Sports and not just any Play it Again Sports but one that sells ice hockey equipment!
Wayyyyy long ago it was because of the Play it Again Sports in Aliso Viejo, Mission Viejo, and San Diego that enabled me to start playing ice hockey at 18 (a sport I could only dream of playing at 12 when the Los Angeles Kings started airing on Prime Ticket back when Gretzky joined).
Now...mannnnnyyy years later, I'm trying to get back into hockey and so is my girlfriend. The fact we could get her gear at a significantly lower price than new prices and also get to try them on is fantastic.
It's well-worth the drive from Long Beach and even if I lived back in south Orange County, I'd make the drive to see what they have in stock.
It's clear most of their ice hockey inventory is from all the tiny kiddos wanting to try ice hockey and be like their hockey heroes - but there's a smattering of inventory for us big, ol' kiddos who want to be like our hockey heroes, too.”
“Torrance Batting Cages is our go to for many baseball purposes including BP in the cages, practices on the turf, and glove repair.
Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable, honest and attentive and the facility is well maintained and cared for.
My youngest was so lucky to be handed down a Nokona glove. We took it to TBC and they relaced and cleaned it up by the next day! There is no where else we will go for our glove care needs.

I've been to other Xtreme soccer stores, and you don't get the same quality individual. These stores have everything you need for soccer. From cleats,socks, and ball to uniforms.”

“Went to VS Athletics in Torrance to get my daughter some spikes for track season. This place has everything if you’re into track and field. Spikes, running shoes, socks, throwing spikes, pretty much all the gear you could need.
The store itself is small, but it feels like a warehouse because they have so much inventory. We found exactly what we needed for track.
The prices ranged from about $40 up to $300 depending on the shoe, and they even had some items on clearance. It took us about 30 minutes to get there, but it was definitely worth the trip.
If your kids run track or you need spikes, this is a solid place to check out. We’ll definitely be back.

“First off, I want to say that when I called and was requesting some help about 2 hats in a specific size I got a very wonderful and professional associate. His name was Danny. Not only did he help me but called me back multiple times since it took him a little to verify if he had the hats. Now normally from this experience I would have given five stars. The reason I deducted one star is from the fact that when I went into the store I had different associates help me and while the one was mostly nice the others seemed to just not care. Plus, the way the store is run (which is not their fault but who ever owns the stores) is horrible. Even with all of this, we did end up purchasing two hats still. Wish whoever owned this company would make changes that not only would benefit the customer but make them more profitable. No matter what, a huge thank you again to Danny!”
“To be honest, I'm actually surprised they never had a Yelp listing for this location as I tend to visit this Champs whenever I'm looking for any deals on some clothes. They tend to have some low key sales here and I have found multiple clothes, shoes and basketball gear on good prices. Like cheap cheap to the point where this place is a must check before purchasing at other sports shops. I do like how friendly & attentive they are too, whenever I walk in. One of my favorite purchases from this store is two Kobe Bryant basketball shorts in the different purple & gold color ways. They also have three stores connected as the main is in the middle with the clothes and then one side is the children's area and the other for women's. Check it out whenever you're in the Del Amo area!”
