“doug and his team are very informed in what they do and can be counted on to do the job correctly with a quick turnaround.
i dropped off my cummins pickup after over tightening a fitting and cracking the case. they had the transmission out quickly and within a couple days had it torn down and were able to inform me i was going to need a full rebuild rather than the case swap i had come in for. they did not hesitate to send pictures of the smoked clutches and any evidence backing their claim.
they had my truck done in under a week and the price was fair for the quality of work and customer service i received. the technician that performed repairs on my truck also answered any questions that i had so it’s always a plus to get to talk to them. i’d bring them any of my vehicles for transmission work and recommend them to anyone looking.”

“My car had normal wear and tear on the roof (paint peeling in photos). I went to several places in Hayward and San Leandro to get estimates and other places made me feel like they were trying to milk me for every dollar. Except for Daniel at Performance Paint & Towing, Daniel was honest and reasonable with what needed to be done. I dropped my car off and 3 days later I got it back as if there was nothing ever there! Pros: Great customer service Instant and reasonable estimate Fast and quality work Highly recommend Cons: Does not accept credit cards”

The car was washed well before returning.
One minus: I found small new scratches in the repair area, not critical.

“I noticed that my car was louder than before so I assumed that it was time to get a transmission fluid change since it's been long overdue. I called rainbow auto and Mario told me that he could take care of me the same day. After a quick test drive he diagnosed the issue right away and notified me that it wasn't my transmission, instead it was a broken ball bearing that was making that sound that had been haunting me for weeks.
He broke down the pricing in a clear and concise manner, ordered the part, and was very transparent about the issue. He also let me know that it wouldn't be dangerous to drive on while I waited for the part to arrive.
Since the job has been completed, my car has been running seamlessly and I'm very thankful that Rainbow auto center made an often stressful situation so easy. Will definitely come back for my next repair and would recommend them to anyone including family members.”

When I describe the problems with my car, Mr. Kim throughly investigates as well as checks over the vehicle to ensure that nothing is missed. “I came to get some work done on my car I would say it was pricey but what did I expect if I wanted the job done right but only reason I gave 4 star Is because I needed to get more work done on my car and they told me to get my own parts then come in ? I came to the shop so I won't have to deal with any of that now I have to look around for another auto shop I guess they don't want my business I would love to return for honest work but don't know anything about finding parts thanks again .”

“If you care about your vehicles as much as I do, call Al @ All Area Towing. I needed two cars towed and set an appointment for later in the week. Al was communicative throughout the process. He showed up on time with a beautiful flat-bed Chevy, and quickly had my first car ready to roll. Two separate cars being moved to the next town over took less than 2.5 hours from start to finish, and all for less than I had expected to pay. I'll definitely be using A.A.T. for my future towing needs.”

“Super friendly staff. Booked a cargo van easy pick up. Vehicle is brand new with less than a thousand miles on it. Super clean and drives great. The app for returning the van after hour was a little tedious, didn't flow very well, at least not on Android phone. Took quite a bit to complete the return. But the location is great with good staff.”

“10 out of 10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!As my sister and I were headed to Livermore on 6/10/23 my car overheated on what I thought was the 238, but was actually a bit further and was 580. I made a few calls to nearby towing companies and got a few quotes that were pretty high considering where I was being towed to which was Fremont. Also spoke with a few people that were flat out rude! Thankfully my sister found Alladin and he worked with us on the additional mileage quote, his flat fee is $250. He is extremely professional, he gave an ETA of 10/15 minutes and literally arrived in that short amount of time considering he had to drive a bit further then where we thought we broke down at! He is very knowledgeable, very efficient, reliable and a genuinely kind person!Hopefully I don't need a tow again, but if I do I will absolutely be giving my business to this guy! “Very surprised at the negative reviews. My truck was in an accident & CHP used Jack James tow on 09/04 around 6 in the morning to have my truck removed. My mom came with me 09/05 (yesterday) to get my truck out. The lady at their office who helped me was very kind and explained everything to me. I felt comfortable with the charge, as I have never been in a situation like this & have heard horror stories about needing to pay $700+ for a tow & one night of storage. She gave me a printout that clearly listed the charges & even included directions for how to get to the actual tow yard. When I got there, I was absolutely heartbroken to see the damages on my baby, but Alex was respectful when letting me onto the lot to remove my belongings from my truck. It needed to be towed out so we called our insurance provider, who sent the wrong truck. When the driver arrived he said he did not have the proper equipment to tow my non-operable vehicle. We struggled with our insurance for about 4 hours trying to get the right tow truck to do the job, & we wanted to make sure my truck was off the lot before their lot closed at 5pm. Alex saw us waiting a while for our truck & came out a few different times to let us know if we needed anything he was there, we could just knock on the gate, he'll be around, etc & then closer to 5pm he let us know that he'd be leaving soon but that there are other options if the tow truck comes after 5pm, we could call their office again & they could send someone else to open the gate so we could get my truck out. I thought this was very kind of him/the company to offer, I had assumed we would just be stuck accruing more fees if my truck was not out by 5pm. After several hours of going back & forth with our insurance who made this whole situation a nightmare, we decided to just call Jack James' office again & see if we could pay them out of pocket to tow my truck to a repair shop since my insurance company was far from helpful. Without any hesitation, Jeanine accepted. I am not sure if Jeanine was the same woman who helped me when I went to pay my bill at their office (who was also very nice), but she was extremely kind over the phone & sounded genuinely eager to get this situation resolved. I read a lot of reviews about items being stolen out of peoples' vehicles, rude attitude from the women at the office, and just overall "horrible service." I left a lot of valuable things in my car, & I was nervous that stuff would be missing, but to my relief absolutely NOTHING was removed from my truck. The ladies at the office were pleasant in person & so helpful over the phone. During the most saddening & frustrating time while I was dealing with the loss of my truck, Jack James really made the situation bearable. Would certainly recommend them, & they will be the first people I call if I ever find myself in need of a tow again.Service: Car towing”

“My 1998 4Runner rear lift gate was stuck and the latch could not operate. Jose examined and after a few hard pushes the latch worked. He even showed me where the problem is due to the loosen rubber seal and put it back. Guess what is the cost to fix this… a big friendly handshake.
