They took the time to explain exactly what was wrong with my classic Camaro, showed me what needed to be repaired, and never pressured me into doing unnecessary work. The communication was excellent, and they got the car back to me quickly. It drives noticeably better now, and I really appreciate that they also pointed out future maintenance items, like the driveshaft, without trying to upsell me. “I cannot say enough good things about the guys at Charlie’s Autobody in Pleasanton. I’m in the middle of a cross-country move, my storage units are in Pleasanton, and this morning I went to drive my car only to discover it had clearly been messed with while it was sitting in Brisbane. The driver’s door wouldn’t close properly, the lights wouldn’t turn off, and I was completely stressed out thinking my battery was going to drain before I could even get the car checked. I drove it straight to Charlie’s with no appointment. They took me in right away, looked at it, and immediately knew someone had tampered with it. They found the bolt that had been messed with, fixed everything on the spot, and wouldn’t let me pay a single thing. They were calm, confident, kind, and just genuinely good people. Because of them my lights shut off properly, the door closes, and my battery didn’t die. If you’re in the East Bay and need honest, skilled auto body work from people who actually care, go to Charlie’s. They saved me today. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough.”

“I had my 2017 Toyota Highlander repaired at this shop about four weeks ago, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They did an absolutely beautiful job—the repaired area looks brand new! I’m somewhat of a perfectionist when it comes to my cars, and I have to say, this shop exceeded my expectations. The quality of their work was exceptional. Angel, the shop manager (and if he’s not the manager, he should be!), provided outstanding customer service. He went above and beyond to help us with the repair, and his dedication to making sure everything was taken care of was truly appreciated. The repair was originally expected to take eight days, but to my surprise, they had it completed in just five days! They even detailed the car and cleaned the inside of the windshield, which was a wonderful finishing touch. This will definitely be my go-to shop for any future repairs. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality workmanship and exceptional customer service!”
