“Not the store it was.. BIG LOTS HAS CHANGED for the BETTER. BETTER associates clean isles. Well managed and Major League product upgrade from the past. Lots of furniture, bedding Kitchen goods. Many products are better quality than wally world. Or target. Even though the price is better!I was served by Christin and Ruben at the Reedley store. These two put an end myth that good customer service is dead! They answered every question. I went in to get a set of black out drapes the window was 72 inches wide and the panel set said it was 72 inches but it has to zig zag so I actually needed twice as many. I looked but couldn't find a second set. Went to the cash wrap and asked if they had more. Christine checked the inventory and it said that the other near by stores had them and actually they were supposed to have 1 here. She looked in the designated spot zero there but she didn't quit. She looked under the ones on hooks to the bottom shelf. Sure enough they were there. With the hanger snapped off so they could be hung. They were perfect. The quality of the drapes and Franklin easy installation rod and curtains that Ruben sold me earlier were twice as excellent. As the wally world selection and 10 dollars less than the retail giant. Also, you never get this level of service at wally world. And I wasn't forced to be an uncompensated employee, like at wally world.. MY SINCERE THANKS FOR THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN A TOWN! I WILL BE BACK!”

“This store is a super dollar tree compared to others. It has more food items than other stores. It's usually always clean and neat. I can usually find stuff here that I wouldn't find at other Dollar tree.On this particular visit today Sunday the 30th of July, a clerk named Luis efficiently corrected two incorrect charges that were on clearance l. I thought he hadn't removed the erroneous charge because I didn't see a minus or credit symbol. He explained and showed me that he completely removed the line item so it didn't show like other stores where it shows it credited back. I appreciate his professionalism and patience. he did charge me . 50 per popcorn when they were discounted to. 25 cents. It was a simple mistake that I will eat. Serves me right for giving him attitude.”

“Ok so the reason I am giving this store 5 stars today is because one every time i’ve entered I have been greeted by the sweetest staff ever . The manager Rachel has always been so positive so kind and extremely hard working, another manager I think his name is Isaac also just as amazing and positive and cares for his customers . Not only does he do his job he personalizes his care to them one on one . Sara is the most sweetest soul ever always happy always working fast and efficiently and so incredibly personable and positive and makes you so happy you came in . Another worker who stood out is Joey he was alone at register on 4/20 w a super long line not a co worker in sight and he just kept the line moving despite ppl being rude to him he remained kind . And these last 2 David and Jennifer are the most amazing workers ever they are so personable they remember you and the stories you talk about at check out. Jennifer goes the extra mile and so does David to show you where things are when needed . Thank you Family Dollar Parlier Staff for being so Awesome !”

“This place does need more people to work there. I only ever see 2 people at most and never more then 1 line open.Other then that this is the ONLY place in Clovis to get affordable food. I get all I need here cause if I go to a normal market it’s 3 times more costly.They don’t have a lot, but it’s better then losing your paycheck at a Walmart.If you want to afford food today then you can’t eat healthy.”

All the times I go in Mercedes is always in an area of the store cleaning which in my opinion is a star employee. The cashiers are quick with the checkout and never hesitate to greet me when I walk in and wish me a nice day.”

So was the cashier and the woman employee helping (I think) new employees, I overheard her treating them with absolute respect and taking the time to explain things to them.
