“I've been out of the area for quite some time and am thrilled to learn that Mary is still holding down the fort at magical place known as the Minkler Cash Store. Been nearly 50 years since I first stopped in the store and met the owner and resident historian of Minkler, CA-Sylvia Ashcroft who happened to have had a wonderful daughter who helped her mom run the store and back in the day, the feed store across the street from the general store . Her name, Mary! I've got to get over to Minkler and grab a stool at the bar, yes I said bar! I believe the only one still in existence in all of California and catch up on things with dear, sweet Mary.”

“Have been coming to the fruit stand since the 80s. It is now a tradition. The family that runs it are down home, sweet people, sharing the fruits of their labor at very fair prices. The juiciest and sweetest peaches in existence. Feeling very worried that the stand will fall to the wayside like all the businesses did when route 66 was eliminated as a main route. Please go by and support our farms! They are just a short hop off the new 180, literally a blip to get to them. Buy a peach and wash in the washing well. It will bring you back to simpler times.”

“Sweetie is getting low on her favorite food and tracking it down has been rough. Sold out almost everywhere. A major hunt went down and thankfully the kind worker was happy to see if they have it and they did! Woohoo! Thank you worker Gracie for hunting it down! Ordered that and cinnamon gum, Wild Cherry Diet Pepsi, and lip plumper for pick up. Convenience!Arrived, called in, very nice worker received! Ended up having separate orders and the other said it wasn't ready until tomorrow. Just went in. It is extremely nice! Safe and clean! Went right to the gum, candy row, got Extra cinnamon gum, self check out and left. Great service and store! Highly recommended!”

“Good Service from Staff at this location of State Foods. The Flame N Burger Lil restaurant is delicious. They prepare the ? hamburger and fries at the moment its ordered. And there is seating inside to eat. Then they sell individual Mexican jello, flan, and 3 milks cake. So great 5.99 meal and a 1.99 dessert. Wallla, if the store had a Fresh Smell I would give 5 stars. Everything and Everone is great yet there is a strange musty smell somewhere inside. Definitely not something that management cannot invest in to fix. Then the store would definitely bring in more paying customers.”

“The Walmart in Sanger CA. is a lot better than all the others I have visited in the past, not only that, but they have security cameras in their parking lot not like Costco Wholesale. This place is huge and very clean with many many items stocked. I was really surprised how much merchandise they carry here .The service is friendly and courteous with cashier openings so you don’t have to wait in line to check out.This Walmart is only open until 11:00 .There is plenty of parking space. Handicap stalls are close to entrance.”
