“Not a good fitness room, literally has 4 machines with 2 broken and unable to use. The weights are very limited. Found a cockroach that was crawling. Please improve the experience.”

“First off, let me just say this was not the hotel I was supposed to book. I’m in town for a work event and we were all supposed to stay at the Avenues but a few of us booked late so that wasn’t an option. After this trip, I will only stay at the Costa Mesa Courtyard when in town.

I arrived on Super Bowl Sunday and was greeted by Lisa, Ashley and Michael. They congratulated me on my new position and gave me plenty of recommendations for food and fun places to go. They even invited me down to watch the Super Bowl, which I took them up on.

I sat at the bar with Talayah tending with a smile. They explained the menu, their favorites and gave amazing conversation. Talayah turned the volume up for the half time show and I danced with other travelers while we sipped our cocktails and munched on appetizers… for being a thousand miles away they made me feel at home!

Throughout my stay I chatted with Lisa, Ashley and Michael regularly. I met Arthur and Marcos who were quick to help me with anything I needed and always stopped to see how my day was going. And on my last full day I had the pleasure one last cocktail at the Bistro with Vivian behind the bar. Vivian gives amazing conversation with a big smile, making you feel welcome before you even take a seat.

This was easily the best guest experience I’ve ever had while traveling and I will definitely be back! If you’re looking for the most pleasant stay in Costa Mesa, this is it!”

“This studio is incredible! I have been taking classes since 2022 and recently completed the advanced program and can truly say that this school changed my life.

I took a break from acting after college and was terrified to get back into it. This studio provides a safe and welcoming space for every student. If you are nervous to start, please give this school a try, you will be in great hands!!

All of the teachers are so kind and supportive - always helping you to be a better actor in a kind and thoughtful way. Shout out to Victoria, Love, Meg, Garrett, Ryan, and Bill who are amazing teachers I've taken classes with - but I've heard all instructors are amazing!

The community is so supportive and I have made so many wonderful friends. My acting skills have improved so much and I am continuing to grow as as an artist every day.

Since taking classes at ASOOC, I have booked several student/short films and local commercials. I now have the confidence and tools to pursue my dreams and it is all thanks to this incredible studio! Take a class, you won't regret it!”

“Absolutely loved our stay here. We even had a problem with our reservation thru another site and they helped us rectify it. It's right across the street from a few eateries that were really quite good! On top of that, the grounds are beautiful and the rooms are very well maintained and the beds are super comfortable. I've rarely been in a hotel so quiet, especially at bedtime. Also the showers are top tier!!! Water pressure the best! Paul, Tanisha & Andrick (sp?) were all ALL STAR interactions I had with the staff here.

Only cons I have is the pool is super small (only 4 feet), there's no microwave in the rooms (but one downstairs) and I didn't know parking was over $30 before I booked, but i will say that overall, the PROS outweighed the cons by a long shot!

“I always stay at best western and I've always loved their customer service but this specific location was really lacking that. The guy who checked us in was very short and unfriendly. Everything else was great. The rooms are nice, the breakfast is fresh and even though they dont have as many selections as others I've stayed at it was good. The pool was clean and it was quiet. It would have been five stars if he had better customer service. Greet your guests instead of acting like they're bothering you.”

“Hands down one of our new favorites!

This spot has officially become one of my top favorites whenever we visit the LA area. The rooms are clean, and they have this really nice, modern lounge area in the lobby that's perfect for hanging out. Plus, the location is awesome—only about 20–30 minutes to pretty much anywhere around LA and the surrounding county.

But what really made our stay amazing was the front desk agent, FHEARL. We checked in on May 24th right before Memorial Day weekend, and poor thing was working completely solo and definitely a bit slammed. She was multitasking like crazy—answering phones, checking people out, and getting people checked in all at once. I was so impressed with how she handled everything on her own.

The BEST part? Even though you could tell she was working through some major holiday-weekend stress, she never stopped smiling and was so incredibly friendly and helpful. She actually had to put a few callers on hold just to get us taken care of, and when we asked if she needed anything or how we could help, she just smiled and said she was totally fine. She was also so warm and sweet to our toddler, which totally made my hubby and me smile.

Fhearl is a total asset to this hotel and seriously deserves a huge bonus or Employee of the Year recognition!

We’ll definitely stay here again, and we really hope she's still there when we come back.”

“My husband and I and our dog had to come here for the mandatory evacuation for the chemical leak in Garden Grove… They were super sweet after we had gotten a real rotten room at Motel 6 in Westminster but this one was awesome. Didn’t have one single problem very very comfortable and very safe. They didn’t gouge us on the Price they knew that they could’ve but they didn’t because of the distress that everybody was through. There’s a lot of people there looking for rooms because of the evacuation staff was excellent. Everything was great thank you very much Motel 6 Santa Ana.”

“Was there for daughter's graduation at UCI. Close enough to school, very close to the airport, they offer free airport shuttle. Breakfast was hearty enough with slight menu variations each day. Housekeeping upon request the night before, laundry facility which was always busy, and free guest parking. Very satisfied overall. Everyone at the hotel waa pleasant but a special praise to Danny, the night shift front desk clerk who was more than kind and caring.”

“I don’t even know where to begin. My family and I have been staying at Sonesta Simply Suites Orange County for an extended period while our home is being repaired, and what could have been a stressful situation has turned into a genuinely wonderful experience because of the incredible staff.

I was here throughout the construction and renovation work, and even during the busiest and most challenging times, every single team member remained positive, professional, and welcoming. Jose, Gonzalo, McKenzie, Elaina, John, Binh, and General Manager Phil have all gone above and beyond to make guests feel valued and cared for.

No matter what was going on, they were always willing to help, always greeted everyone with a smile, and never seemed to have a bad attitude. Their positive energy and friendliness made a huge difference during a difficult chapter in our lives. It’s rare to find a team that consistently treats guests with such kindness, patience, and genuine care.

What started as a temporary stay has felt more like being part of a family. The staff has created an environment that is not only comfortable and welcoming but actually fun. They truly care about the people staying here, and it shows every day.

“The owners are super nice. The rooms are okay. Simple but not luxurious. However comfortable and cheap and bed is big enough to enjoy a nice peaceful night. I would definitely come back here to stay and enjoy a few days in Santa Ana!”

“This place is very quiet. Nobody bothers you. I don't see why some people complain on these reviews because when we showed up stay there for a week. It was awesome ???? the pool was nice, if people were in and out. Respectfully,. All the workers were super nice and respectful. We will come back again and not to mention free breakfast.”
