“This time of year reminds me of the kindness that was extended to my husband, and I during his surgical procedure. The JW House provided us with a place to lay our heads, serenity, and meals that were prepared and served by wonderful volunteers. The bonus was, we had a chance to bond and connect with other families who were also at The JW House. May God bless each and every one of you for the kindnesses that was extended to us. Thank you. Merry Christmas from the Shoushtari Family.”

“This is a wonderful quaint & cozy yoga studio in the heart of Santa Clara. It also happens to be connected to the best coffee shop in town! When walking in, I instantly felt at home, comfortable and safe here. I’ve taken a sound healing class (which was one of the more potent ones i’ve ever tried) and a pilates yoga fusion which definitely kicked my butt! Thanks for offering this magical space :)”

“Go Niners!!!!!!Parking can be tricky…I would suggest parking a bit a way and wearing your walking shoes to the stadium. Leave your wallet, purse anything extra behind unless it’s in a clear bag. I learned that the hard way! Crowds crowds crowds!! Some people were brave and brought actual babies in carriers etc I left my little one with the grandparents but it’s possible!”

“I shop at the Santa Clara location often. Since they remodeled their store I did see their prices increase, however they do seem to have lowered them a bit because of so much criticism. I am not sure how the district office treat their employees . There are several employees at this store that are so dedicated and work their hardest to keep things clean and organized. One in particular is Tyler the Assistant Manager. He is like the Duracell bunny. He has great customer service, respect from his employees, is always moving and always trying to make the store look better. If anyone is looking for a great customer service person he would be a great person to take a chance on. I don't think Goodwill acknowledges some of these people. I would also love to mention Ray, Alban and Atsede for their hard working and customer server skills. They always have a smiling face and are eager to help. Again, I don't know if Goodwill always recognizes employees like this, but they have worked very hard to get where they are and I just wanted to say Thank You,not all people especially in retail are as caring.”

“Project Sentinel really was a big help during some very difficult times. They were friendly, empathetic, and professional. I'm thankful for this group of people who were there to do a job only they could do and did it very well.”

“CAIR has been providing support to the Muslim community for years and doing that pro-bono. The staff and volunteers have been dedicated to defend the rights of the community members affected by any discrimination, attempt of intimidation by people, companies or government entities. I admire them for always being there.”
