“On my way back home from Monterey, I stopped here to get gas and the prices were surprisingly better than other locations.I didn't go inside to pay, just paid at the pump with card, but overall it was a pretty standard gas experience, just considerably better priced. “I was gonna go to Costco to gas up, but I was in a little bit of a hurry, and my daughter told me about this gas station. At 1st, I was just going to get $5 or $10 worth, go to my appointment, and then go get gas at Costco. However, the price was so good at Great Gas prices were so good, that I just decided to fill it up there.”

“I like going to this Chevron. The employees are pleasant and patient with the customers. They have two restrooms for the customers use, which is nice. Most places will not even allow a paying customer to use their restroom, even if it is obviously urgent.”

“It's a generic gas station mini mart but they do it right. The beer selection is decent as well as the snacks. The best part is the eclectic mix of employees. The characters that work here always entertain me. Always overly friendly, always a bit eccentric and definitely part of the neighborhood. I love going here. My one complaint is that the rasta looking guy tipped me off that the Mexican chocolate popsicles were addictively good and now I realize they are always out of stock. I feel like a junkie always looking for my fix. Order more dammit! Lol”

“Conveniently located on mission Street in Santa Cruz, a smaller neighborhood sized gas station. Traffic from middle school in the morning can be really busy, and of course we can traffic on mission is an issue. Just be patient getting in and out.”

“Of the 3 main shells in town this one is most accessible. They have lots of pumps and also lots of diesel pumps for the location. Easy access on and off the freeway. Pretty clean handles on both gas and diesel. The window washer water isn't always the cleanest and prices are more than local spots”

“Best gas station in town. Always has prices that are way lower than all of the other major gas stations even though it's in a very prominent location (frequently 30 or 40 cents cheaper than places down the road). The only downside is that it's kind of difficult to get out of the parking lot, especially if you want to turn left to go to 17 or 1 south”

“I came here while on a family trip. It was kinda late so I went to try to find milk for my little one. I went back and forth looking but couldn’t find any milk. I was going to leave but the man realized I couldn’t find whatever and asked. I told him I was looking for milk and he said he had milk he’d just give me. I kinda was shocked but yeah he really did. “I have gotten gas here for years. The gas prices are among the best in town. On top of that, they fill propane tanks and have a small convenience store. The air pump usually works. The main problem here is that the pumps are beat up, with keypads falling off, sometimes held on by black electrical tape. They've had skimmer incidents in the past, as at many other local stations, and the sketchy condition of the pumps has led me to come here less often.”
