“I have gotten gas here for years. The gas prices are among the best in town. On top of that, they fill propane tanks and have a small convenience store. The air pump usually works. The main problem here is that the pumps are beat up, with keypads falling off, sometimes held on by black electrical tape. They've had skimmer incidents in the past, as at many other local stations, and the sketchy condition of the pumps has led me to come here less often.”
“I have popped into this establishment twice. It was memorable both times as the man behind the counter, Shere Khan, was over the top kind and helpful each time. They have a great kratom selection with excellent prices. I pop in all the time to re-up!”
“Went there for last minute smog. They went out of there way to help me. I was there no more than 20 mins. Very kind, helpful and knowledgeable . They saved me so much extra work by providing such fast professional service. Not to mention very affordable. Going there again today to smog my other vehicle. 100% hands down.”

“It's a generic gas station mini mart but they do it right. The beer selection is decent as well as the snacks. The best part is the eclectic mix of employees. The characters that work here always entertain me. Always overly friendly, always a bit eccentric and definitely part of the neighborhood. I love going here. My one complaint is that the rasta looking guy tipped me off that the Mexican chocolate popsicles were addictively good and now I realize they are always out of stock. I feel like a junkie always looking for my fix. Order more dammit! Lol”
“An early morning stop for gasoline... This little place did the trick. The restroom was cramped and not very clean, though. I would recommend going to the grocery store across the street for bathroom breaks.”

“I had such an exceptional experience here I had to write a review. I discovered I had a nail in my tire when I pulled into Sav-on Gasoline to put air in what I thought was just a low tire. I asked the mechanic if he’d be able to help and he immediately and kindly fixed it for me right on the spot. The man who I assume was the owner also checked in with me several times to make sure I was being helped. Thanks to them they helped make what could have been an extremely stressful day (I was due in SF an hour later) into a quick and stress free experience. Incredible customer service! Thank you! ?”

“This is one of the few remaining 24-hour businesses in the area (even the local 7-Elevens close from 2-5am). So that's appreciated. They always seem to have someone who knows what they're doing working at night too, and surprisingly low turnover.”
“Best gas station in town. Always has prices that are way lower than all of the other major gas stations even though it's in a very prominent location (frequently 30 or 40 cents cheaper than places down the road). The only downside is that it's kind of difficult to get out of the parking lot, especially if you want to turn left to go to 17 or 1 south”

“Of the 3 main shells in town this one is most accessible. They have lots of pumps and also lots of diesel pumps for the location. Easy access on and off the freeway. Pretty clean handles on both gas and diesel. The window washer water isn't always the cleanest and prices are more than local spots”

“Conveniently located on mission Street in Santa Cruz, a smaller neighborhood sized gas station. Traffic from middle school in the morning can be really busy, and of course we can traffic on mission is an issue. Just be patient getting in and out.”

“Cheaper gas for Costco members, but located across the street from the warehouse store. I almost decided this Costco didn’t have gas, until I checked Google Maps.
They have several rows of pumps (3 pumps each row) but there was still a line going out to the street on the Saturday I went.
If you enter from the Sylvania street entrance and drive through the lot you might avoid the line out to the street on Harvey West Blvd.”
