“I have gotten gas here for years. The gas prices are among the best in town. On top of that, they fill propane tanks and have a small convenience store. The air pump usually works. The main problem here is that the pumps are beat up, with keypads falling off, sometimes held on by black electrical tape. They've had skimmer incidents in the past, as at many other local stations, and the sketchy condition of the pumps has led me to come here less often.”

“This Union 76 gas station is clean and easy to get in and out of. The store has most of the snacks and drinks I want in stock. The gas pumps automatically give me receipts every time I pump gas. However, this Union 76 gas station is also one of the more expensive gas stations in town.”
“Clean and well-maintained. You can actually wash your windows here. And this is one place I don't worry too much about having my card skimmed at the pumps. C-store is small but has basics for travellers.”

“I had such an exceptional experience here I had to write a review. I discovered I had a nail in my tire when I pulled into Sav-on Gasoline to put air in what I thought was just a low tire. I asked the mechanic if he’d be able to help and he immediately and kindly fixed it for me right on the spot. The man who I assume was the owner also checked in with me several times to make sure I was being helped. Thanks to them they helped make what could have been an extremely stressful day (I was due in SF an hour later) into a quick and stress free experience. Incredible customer service! Thank you! ?”
“They do a really good job of keeping up with trendy snacks, beer, and tobaccos as well as providing good value at the pump what is most impressive though is how they keep the gas station and shopette well maintained and up to date with current branding infrastructure maintenance and operability and if you go there all the time you get to enjoy a really cool neighborhood vibe experience like a local neighborhood bodega”
“My shoes broke one night and I didn't have enough cash to buy another pair of flip flops so the worker went to the back and gave me a pair of shoes so I'd have to walk around barefoot that's great customer service and thank you for looking out for your customers”

“It's a generic gas station mini mart but they do it right. The beer selection is decent as well as the snacks. The best part is the eclectic mix of employees. The characters that work here always entertain me. Always overly friendly, always a bit eccentric and definitely part of the neighborhood. I love going here. My one complaint is that the rasta looking guy tipped me off that the Mexican chocolate popsicles were addictively good and now I realize they are always out of stock. I feel like a junkie always looking for my fix. Order more dammit! Lol”

“This is one of the few remaining 24-hour businesses in the area (even the local 7-Elevens close from 2-5am). So that's appreciated. They always seem to have someone who knows what they're doing working at night too, and surprisingly low turnover.”
“Conveniently located on mission Street in Santa Cruz, a smaller neighborhood sized gas station. Traffic from middle school in the morning can be really busy, and of course we can traffic on mission is an issue. Just be patient getting in and out.”
“Best gas station in town. Always has prices that are way lower than all of the other major gas stations even though it's in a very prominent location (frequently 30 or 40 cents cheaper than places down the road). The only downside is that it's kind of difficult to get out of the parking lot, especially if you want to turn left to go to 17 or 1 south”

“No public restrooms, unless you count the ones at the Costco warehouse/ store a quarter mile away. You need a Costco membership to get gas here. No windshield washing station, ie. bucket and squeegee. Lines are often long, though quick moving. Fairly dangerous for a gas station. Sometimes difficult to get a receipt. One attendant for the whole place. No homeless/sketchy people lurking nearby, which is surprising considering how close this is to Coral Street and Harvey West Park. Overall, excellent! This is where I get my gas.”
