“On 4/10, we had a check engine light pop up on our way to Santa Cruz. We saw that Autozone had a free engine code reader displayed in their window, but when we went inside to ask, they said they didn't have any anymore. Fortunately for us, O'Reilly was across the street and they did have one.
We plugged it in and couldn't get it to work, so they offered to come out and check it for us. There were still issues, so they brought up the diagnostics on the computer. And sure enough it was an engine misfire. Because of them we were able to correctly diagnose what the issue was and we were able to take it to a shop instead of risking driving the car and a worse situation happening.”
