“I was shocked at how fast they got the job done. Even more shocked that they listened to my concerns and instructions. Not only were they fast and professional, they were actually accommodating. They offered to follow me as to give me a ride back to my personal vehicle after picking up and parking my commercial vehicle on the other side of town. Most mechanics on the same task took a week to a week and a half to finish. At Donahue in Santa Maria, they did it in a single morning. In fact, they were so fast that I had to have them hold the truck for a few days because I was expecting a week or more based on other mechanics I had used. They were highly professional, polite, an helpful. I couldn't ask for better service from a shop. I wish every Truck shop was like this one, but unfortunately Donahue Truck Center in Santa Maria is the diamond in the rough, the pleasant odd ball out when it comes to truck shops. “This review is for Manager Nicholas Clark. My company had an issue with our account being on hold. I went through several penske districts and higher ups nationwide and begged that they hear me out regarding a mistake that occurred within Penske's system, all of the other reps I spoke to gave me the quick heartless and carless "we can't help you" robot like treatment and passed me on to a corporate email, that never replied dating back moths. After speaking to over 20 different Penske reps Nicholas stood by me as a client and followed through despite higher ups maybe advising him not to talk to me and to not look deeper into the situation. As a client you want to be heard when mistakes happen and supported. Nicholas deserves a raise and a promotion for doing what he did and being patient enough to hear and understand my concern. I can't say I'm fully happy with my status as a customer because of the hoops I had to jump through to find someone caring enough like Nicholas. Thank you Nicholas.”

“We needed to rent a car tow dolly for a long distance trip. U-Haul called to inform us that we needed to pick it up at the Betteravia location. The couple who run the location are kind, helpful, thorough and committed to making sure you are safe and fully trained on the equipment you are renting. They hooked everything up for us and then made sure any and all of our questions were answered. They took time explaining all the straps and chains, and told us how often to verify the surety of the vehicles stability. They focused on our safety and the safety of our tow. We arrived at our destination safe and sound, the vehicle in tow was always secure. I am sorry I did not get their names, but they definitely deserve recognition for a job well done and an investment in good customer service that I seldom find at U-Haul. Thanks, again!”
