“When a fur partner hears their human partner yell, “Fetch!” He knows it is the start of their playtime when his partner throws a stick. ball, or some other object for him or her to retrieve. However, there is another scenario in which the word has a totally different definition, not described in Webster’s Dictionary, for an experience that my service dog, KiKi, and I discovered. It is a must-try for you and your partner, whether your partner is a service dog or a pet.
A little over a year ago, I began the almost impossible task of finding a replacement groomer familiar with Alaskan Malamute-Siberian Long Fur Husky to care for KiKi after my previous groomer finished college and moved on. I struck gold when my wife suggested trying Fetch, a grooming spaw salon, located in the remodeled Airport Auto Dealership, now a multi-business center.
To be truthful, I was super reluctant to place KiKi with Fetch because of her aversion to being placed in a kennel crate, stemming from her time at a non-profit rescue organization, where she resided in one awaiting adoption and placement in a forever home. She would bark a pleading cry for one of the volunteers to be let out, just to anywhere but the crate.
Her first time with our previous grooming business left me with an image burned forever into my memory of her in a full-blown panic attack that cut deep into my heart. She was dumped on the streets of a city in Northern California. She experienced three failed adoptions cause of severe depression arising from the abandonment by her previous human partner before she and I bonded and became Kemosabies forever.
Her first experience with Cody proved to be the ultimate solution for KiKi’s grooming needs. KiKi had waited three months for her appointment, and by then her appearance looked like she had gained a ton of weight, and her tail feathers looked like she needed a caution-wide-load sign attached to her tail. The funny, strange part about her was that she was a senior seven-year-old dog that had grown almost five inches, and her fur changed color shortly after we became forever partners.
So, if you are looking for a great place for your fur partner to be groomed and flooded with love during their visit to a doggie spaw. Fetch is the best of the best.

Every time I visit, I feel welcomed and supported, whether I’m asking questions, getting help finding products, or just browsing.
