Ocean View Park is a great and awesome park at Santa Monica’s south beach. It is a beautiful, enchanting, and alive destination with a nice ocean view. The park offers a playground for kids, a green grass picnic area, and spaces for lawn sports, basketball, and tennis. It is a quieter, less crowded location and is dog-friendly. Visitors should note that parking is a consideration. There is a beach side paid lot with a $20 flat rate and a small $1 per hour lot with few spaces. Random street parking may be available but requires caution. The park is clean, with very clean restrooms and no homeless population due to frequent police patrols. It is busy and crowded on weekends. Nearby, there are electric scooter rentals, shops, restaurants, and the 3rd Street Promenade. Overnight RV parking is also possible.
