All Staff whom preside here put there all in 24/7, so much so that Victor was even willing to wait a few minutes after the regular store hours to get what I needed in my hands prior to the weekend close, saving me hours if not days of more work time, for that Im grateful....If you need anything paint related, this is your spot in the west LA area... now you know.”

Emil's has a shockingly good selection, and their online shop has options for pick-up in store or delivery, and if they're out of stock they will ship things to the store for you which we appreciate.

“We've been using this SW location for years. When we can, we try to make purchases when a discount is available, since we like their premium, Emerald, line of paint. But today I was in a pinch and headed over without checking for any discount. Daniel, at the counter, rang up my gallon and said, "Hang on," and looked up an online discount that saved me about $20. He is top-notch, gave us all kinds of insider tips to repair paint on my Honda pilot after a 10x4 inch strip blew off from a high pressure hose at one of those DIY car wash. “I'm in Tucson Arizona and have ordered from Portola Paints several times. The orders are always processed quickly and shipped securely - no issue with containers opening, spilling, or getting damaged in any way. I recently sent them a paint sample and asked for it to be matched in Roman Clay. I was a little nervous about how close of a match they could achieve but turns out I had nothing to worry about. The match is pretty much exact. I was incredibly pleased and impressed and I'm sure my client will be as well. I love working with the Roman Clay - it's a fabulous product with a gorgeous finish. My clients have loved it every time I've used it.”

Dilni came up with amazing ideas for stucco color/trim/door that we wouldn’t have thought of ourselves. She was very prompt in answering follow up questions. The Project came out fantastic. Even though there's been times where I've gone there to make a purchase and their system was down and they couldn't sell anything or other times where the store was not open during hours of operation, I have had excellent customer service Experiences every time. The most recent was yesterday when I visited the store to purchase additional paint and Ryan was so patient and doing a color match for me and then another canned that I needed it which they didn't have in stock for him to locate at another location and tell me that he could actually drop it off first thing tomorrow morning on his way to work as I am two blocks away from the store customer service at its finest!
