“We love our neighborhood hardware store! I just found out you can order online from Emil's...I wish I'd known this sooner, I could have saved a few trips to the dreaded Home Depot.
Emil's has a shockingly good selection, and their online shop has options for pick-up in store or delivery, and if they're out of stock they will ship things to the store for you which we appreciate.

“We've been using this SW location for years. When we can, we try to make purchases when a discount is available, since we like their premium, Emerald, line of paint. But today I was in a pinch and headed over without checking for any discount. Daniel, at the counter, rang up my gallon and said, "Hang on," and looked up an online discount that saved me about $20. Super customer service!”

He is top-notch, gave us all kinds of insider tips to repair paint on my Honda pilot after a 10x4 inch strip blew off from a high pressure hose at one of those DIY car wash. Most recently, I spoke with Bri who assisted me in ordering roman clay in a color that matches my living room walls and also assisted with the correct quantities so I didn't have wasted materials.

“Hello! We were torn over what color to paint our house, and color consultant Dilni Peiris did a FABULOUS job helping us decide. She even photoshopped the facade in three colors, so we could choose. She went above and beyond in many ways! First, she asked to photoshop the most complicated side of our home. We're on a hill, so one side is a tiny, flat surface, but the back is two stories with balconies, and that's the one she wanted to work with, even though it was clearly much more labor intensive. She also was incredibly patient with our endless questions and visits (thank you!!!). And everyone in the store was kind and very helpful. And (okay, sorry if this is weird) they have the best in-store music playlist ever! Great experience, thanks to everyone especially Dilni! Andrea Drever, Sherman Oaks”

Even though there's been times where I've gone there to make a purchase and their system was down and they couldn't sell anything or other times where the store was not open during hours of operation, I have had excellent customer service Experiences every time. The most recent was yesterday when I visited the store to purchase additional paint and Ryan was so patient and doing a color match for me and then another canned that I needed it which they didn't have in stock for him to locate at another location and tell me that he could actually drop it off first thing tomorrow morning on his way to work as I am two blocks away from the store customer service at its finest!
