“I stop by every day before school to pick up Gatorade and some snacks. The staff is very friendly and have great customer service. It's nice to have a neighborhood market nearby. Anyone accusing these guys as racist or thieves in reviews are nuts, I've seen people trying to steal things from the store a couple of times and the staff will go after them and why shouldn't they?It doesn't matter what color you are, if you don't steal beer and snacks and they won't chase after you. Pretty simple.”
“This is the best store in Santa Paula, they have a little bit of everything and whenever I think damn I have to drive to ventura I remember this GEM and they always have what I need. Prices are low service is high.”

“I was shopping and needed help with both looking for the deal and at self checkout and Tiffany was a great help. She took her time and was very helpful. Need more like her.”
“great selection, and after looking around other stores, i was happy to realize the 12 packs i bought were $2-3 cheaper at el brillante than other stores, which are savings that can add up quickly if you stocking up for the holiday for example. also, a very knowledgeable management & staff. check them out!”

“Woo woo woo woo! Came here drunk as a skunk and bought some beer and a pack of hot Cheetos. Woke up hungover and went back for more snacks and felt better. Cool place! Woo woo woo woo! It's a 10”
“This place has the best meat and definitely the best prices . Hands down. Grabbed sum shrimp to make jaiva today and oooh my goodness!!! Had to make a review it was that good. Deserved a review way sooner.”
“It's a popular market for locals. I find they have little to choose from as far as sandwich bread goes. Also, I couldn't get help to find hot chocolate or cocoa. No one seemed to care if I found it or not. Check out was quick and courteous. I would go back. They have many Mexican products I could use.”
“To start. You're not there for the ambiance. The atmosphere is nothing but an actual small market. That being said, the Mexican food kitchen in the back of the market is where the delicious food experience happens. You order your meal from hard working women there to serve. The meats made there are delicious. Order a burrito or torta , tacos, a plate to go. Give them a try. A bit pricey but worth it.”
