The ladies who assisted us both days were incredibly friendly and helpful. The artichokes, berries, and citrus fruits were all delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly high quality. According to their website, Rodela Produce offers fruits and vegetables that come directly from local farms, ensuring freshness and premium quality.
A quick note from their site: while they emphasize local sourcing, they do mention that certain fruits like bananas, mangos, apples, and pineapples are not local. Still, the quality of their produce is evident, and it’s a great spot to pick up healthy, fresh options.

“Came here because of a flyer that was mailed to my house.... apparently a long time ago because the prices are higher for the meals now. Standard with inflation now, so not criticizing them or knocking a star. I got the gyro supreme and it was delicious. The pita was not great, but it did not stop me from eating it all. Healthy serving size. Register lady was nice enough to still honor the old coupon.I meandered around the store and found them to have a nice large liquor section. Also garbanzo beans by the pound.Staff was all nice, store was well kept and stocked, food was great, there was a sports bar attached, and they have their own (small) parking lot. Fantastic all around. I'll be coming back to support this lovely business”

I thought I was overcharged for Buy 2 get 3 free on soft drinks so I went back inside, was greeted by employee (Joanne) who was very helpful and corrected me by showing me it was a Vons app exclusive and helped me save $35! “Do you love making beef jerky on your smoker?? If so, this is THE place to buy your meat. A friend, who is an awesome cook, swears by their meat (milanesa). I bought 4 lbs. of Milanesa. The cost was $18.31. I believe that is a fair price. Very fair for great quality, thinly priced meat. The butchers are always friendly. Why not give it 5 stars, you ask?? I will tell you. My issue was at checkout. I was about to pay cash. I noticed that would leave me with about a buck in my wallet. I asked if I could pay with a debit card. The lady said yes. She quickly said the total. I nodded & handed her my debit card. The price was .50 cents higher. I believe in transparency. Please put signs up at the register saying that you are charging extra to use a debit card. If Arco gas stations can do it, so can you. Here is the recipe I followed: Hubby used bottled teriyaki. His sauce was also yummy.”

“The best pharmacy in Ventura in my opinion. They have always been extremely helpful and nice. But now, Pharmacist Casey is going beyond the norm. She is searching other Von’s and getting a prescription together for me since the manufacturer is in back order and I have sensitivity to other medications. “I really appreciate a grocery store that’s looking out for people’s health while still keeping things reasonably priced, and Sprouts does a great job of balancing both.
They have a strong focus on fresh produce, healthier ingredients, and natural foods, but the store still feels accessible and not overly expensive like some specialty markets.
One of the hidden gems here is the deli counter. The sandwiches are a great deal at $4.99. I had the turkey on multigrain with all the works and added provolone cheese for $1, which really put it over the top. It ended up being a fantastic sandwich for the price. When you compare that to what many sandwich shops charge these days, it’s a serious bargain.
I also picked up some cashew butter for dessert, which was a really good way to finish things off.
Overall this is a great place to shop if you’re trying to eat a little healthier without breaking the bank. Ventura is lucky to have this Sprouts.”
“Very convenient when camping at Lake Casitas and saves a bunch of time. If you forgot anything or didn't pack due to space, you can get it here. They have everything. The place to get fire wood in the park and prices are not really crazy out of line on most items. Shopkeeper seems very nice as well.”

“My son and I stumbled upon Fernando's on our way to the fish market and couldn't resist! We got a beautiful spread of blackberries and strawberries for a GREAT price. If we were in town longer I would have gotten tons of flowers, beautiful selection! Also, the gentleman working was so friendly, easy going and even gave us some over ripe peaches to make a cobbler with.We will definitely go back every visit!”

“I’ve shopped at Trader Joe’s all over California for many years, and I take New Zealanders to the stores when they visit. The tourists love to travel back home carrying the amusing Trader Joe’s shopping bags as a talking point about their trip. I value TJ’s fun, colorful, casual culture, plus the great prices, healthy options and ever-changing interesting selection of products. Kiwis, you’ll find the NZ artesian water, NZ wine, and (my favorite) NZ’s grass-fed sharp cheddar there. Staff are very helpful. The stores are often right off the freeway, so they’re convenient too. Their public restrooms are very clean. My cat loves their sardines in spring water. I’m happy these have no salt and they’re a better price than elsewhere. Thank you TJ’s!”
