“I accidentally put my original review of this nursery on the wrong site . There are so many nurseries in this area, however there are many things that make this one stand out. They have a vast variety not just of your standard plants but many unique varieties in every category and price range. The plants are healthy and affordable. David is very knowledgeable and was helpful in giving me great ideas for my home project. It was fun just going up and down the aisles to explore their inventory. I go to many nurseries but this will be my go to from now on.”

“First off, I wanna say home depot did a great job this time. With my online order, I will say the last few times I did a curbside pick up. I would wait for 15 minutes, and never see an associate so id have to go inside the store wait in line and then get my order through check out. But, this time it was different I will say I pulled up, I walked into the store and as I was walking in the store I did my I'm here on the app order for a curbside Pick up as I was standing in line. I saw them tell an associate to grab the curb side order and take it outside. And I had my order in 5 minutes, so 5 stars home depot, good job.”

“If you want native California plants go see Bob!I've been using Matilija nursery for over 10 years, in a professional capacity on habitat restorations sites throughout southern California, and finally in my home yard after I killed and removed my lawn. Over the years I've used Bob to contract grow specific species for specific habitat restoration projects and dropped by to snag 20 or 30 plants to supplement other restorations sites. Just this past year I was able to source, with Bobs help, over 200 individual plants comprised of 35 different species of plants to create my own personal habitat restoration site at my home in Camarillo. Bob is very knowledgeable and always eager to have a chat about plants, nature, or really anything. I always refer people to Matilija, and will keep doing so for as long as Bob is doing his thing.”

Today he revived our 11 year old Behr paint by mixing, adding water and straining it into a new can so we could patch instead of having to buy new and paint the whole room (tints of new paint don't match the old stuff) And he totally set us up by recommending 5 minute mud mix for the drywall repair. “I was looking to buy a metal hose reel since my old plastic finally cracked from being exposed to the direct and indirect sunlight UV rays . So I did some research on quality and price . On a rainy Thursday evening I looked at Home Depot website and the reel that I set my sights on , a Liberty Garden aluminum hose reel was in stock, actually 10 in stock. I go there and I don't see the the paricular hose reel on the shelf where it should be. I walk to the service desk and ask Joette ( I think it's spelled ) to contact someone to assist me on finding the hose reel. I guess their phones and intercom system went down , they couldn't contact anyone much to my chagrin. After around 20 minutes of waiting , they found the manager Joaquin. He took me to the isle and shelf where the hose reel is located and found one box of a Hampton Bay reel , apparently Joaquin assured me it was exactly the same as the brand that I was looking for .. he pointed to me the SKU number matched. For my extra waiting I asked Joaquin if they can price match a similar hose reel that Lowes was selling..$10 dollars lower .. Joaquin went above and beyond and lowered the price by half ! I was really appreciative of that and I bought the item .. Joaquin was very professional and listened to my concerns.. Raúl”
