“They have a free parking garage with handicap parking and handicap accessibility. Valet parking is available. Their gas station is conveniently located onsite. We had a nice welcome at the entrance. If you sign up for their player membership you recieve their players card and $30 credit to play. The floor reps were friendly and readily available to help. The interior is huge, clean, neat with good air quality. We visited on Halloween so the registration desk reps were all dressed in costumes. They made it fun to sign up and to recieve freebies. We both were very appreciative of their complementary bottled water in cold cases located throughout the casino. You don't get that in Vegas.”

“What a wonderful little place!!! Such beautiful rooms and hotel. Service feels like a 5 star. Gorgeous views. Comfortable beds. Kirsten at the front desk was lovely and helpful- both on the phone before we arrived and while we were there. Cleanliness is taken seriously- they washed off the pool furniture every single morning. So great with kids and brought us two pack and plays with extra mattress for comfort to the room. They bring cold water and freezies to you when you’re in the hot tub and pool. Kids had so much fun. Hold doors for you in lobby. We loved this little piece of heaven! Thank you for everything”

“Unfortunately, this past weekend was the last opportunity to book a reservation before the restaurant's closing. The food and service was always amazing but the hotel has been purchased by someone who is completely redesigning the hotel so it will no longer include a restaurant. It is a tremendous loss for Solvang and the community. We wish all the wonderful staff the best in trying to find new positions and thank the amazing chef who always provided delightful, unique dishes.”

“This is an adorable older hotel that has been renovated. It was clean and the beds were so comfortable. We slept amazingly well. We were in a room in the front so there was some street noise, but not really at night because the town shuts down around 8 PM. The patio had a fire pit and we enjoyed sitting around it and unwinding in the evening. The traffic had stopped and we could hear the crickets chirping. It was a very relaxing stay.”

“I was in town for a wedding that was near by at a more expensive hotel. I booked at the Fess Parker for the weekend. Not only did I saw a few hundred dollars, but my hotel was nice than where others were staying for more money and the customer service was 5/5. I’d recommend to anyone who visits this town.”

“We stayed at The Inn at Mattie’s Tavern for a two-night girls’ weekend and had a great experience overall. The rooms are spacious with incredibly comfortable beds, and the outdoor area is a highlight—the fire pit is perfect for making s’mores. The location is also ideal, with easy access to Los Olivos and its wineries.
The manager’s warm welcome, complete with a hot toddy and property tour, added a special touch. The property also has a fun selection of courtesy vehicles for use. The only downsides were the spa being fully booked and unable to accommodate us, and the coffee shop and restaurant do not open for breakfast until 7am (6/6:30 would be preferred!).
Overall, it’s a beautiful property with thoughtful details, and we’d happily stay again—just booking the spa in advance next time!

“Location very quiet and dark at night, in the middle of wine county, great if you are here for winery hopping, service was very good, breakfast was good love the yogurt and fruits option, wish they had wheat bread oatmeal.
No tv in property. Parking was easy and free. Building is very quiet and vintage deco. My room felt a bit small especially the bathroom. But I took one star off due to the curtain is not black out and the window doesn’t block sound also the door to the hallway I can hear everything. Neighbor was very quiet though. I was solo and I think this is great for couple.”

“I came across this hotel because they had a special going on, as they were renovating their front garden. We decided to book and so glad we did. This is such a clean and cute boutique hotel. The check in process was super easy and we were even given personalized suggestions on where to have dinner and breakfast the next day. I would stay here again.”

“Great location for a weekend or week away. Beautiful hills and scenery, located right on the outskirts of Solvang Village. Easy quick walk to the shops....close to a nice walking trail....and quite surroundings.
The Worldmark is updated, with great rooms, a nice gameroom and lounge area, a pool, and a decent gym. The gym does not have free weights but a couple of treadmills, and a weight machine.”

“So charming and even better than expected! My family was passing through and booked two rooms in super cute Solvang. The rooms are huge, clean, and with all the right amenities. I wished we stayed longer. The location is great, and they even offered free danishes and coffee at Olsen's Bakery.”
“We stayed at this hotel for a single night. It’s conveniently located between Santa Barbara in the south and San Luis Obispo in the north. The amenities are basic, typical of a 2-star hotel. The breakfast options were okay, but we opted to grab coffee and pastries in the nearby town instead. If you’re looking for a quick place to stay during your visit to the area, this might be a good option.”

“The Landsby is one of my absolute favorite places in Solvang. I’m always impressed every time I’m there. The fireplaces in the rooms are such a beautiful touch, and the outdoor fireplaces make the whole place feel cozy and inviting, especially in the evenings.
The lounge is a perfect hangout spot — relaxed, stylish, and comfortable — and the restaurant is excellent. It’s a place where you can enjoy great food, unwind, and truly feel at home.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the location is ideal, close to everything in town. This has become my go-to spot in Solvang, whether I’m staying overnight or just spending time there. I absolutely love it and highly recommend it.”

“Our kids had an absolutely amazing time here. We adored our cabin; it was the perfect size for our family of five. The fire pits, picnic benches, and overall ambiance were just perfect. Not to mention the added bonus of free bike rentals and a wide range of activities to keep us entertained. We are definitely planning to come back again, but we'll have to make sure we secure a reservation early, as this place tends to get booked up quickly.”
“Friendliest and cleanest motel we have stayed at in a very long time, unfortunately just for one night. It all starts with a smile at the reception. We thought we had made a reservation with hotels.com but it didn’t work. We appreciate still having gotten a room with a good price anyway. Save the fees, call and make your reservation directly. Clean, friendly and well maintained.”

“2 star resort that exceeds in every category. The staff were extremely friendly and we enjoyed joking with them. The room was large, clean, and most importantly, priced fairly. I would definitely stay here instead of spending a fortune at Solvang. The free pastries for breakfast were delicious and copious.

“My daughter booked this hotel and I was skeptical because the rates were much more reasonable than other hotels. I was so pleasantly surprised! I loved it! The roons were a great size and very very clean! The atmosphere was adorable! We loved the windmill! We enjoyed sitting at the fire pits at night and breakfast on our door in the morning! I would totally go back!”

She answered all my questions and really took the time to welcome me to Solvang. Love the location and the rooms were comfortable and clean.”

“Had a great experience here. The rooms are nicely updated and clean. They have mini-fridge, microwaves and coffee makers in the rooms. There is coffee and water available to guests all day and they have complimentary danishes from Olsen's on the weekend.
They also have an ice machine and vending machines for snacks and drinks, although, the drink machine is located in a different spot on the property.
U.P., the manager was very friendly and accommodating, made the stay there a memorable one. It's located at the entrance to Solvang and just a quick walk to city center. About 10 mins.”

“This is a very nice, clean and comfortable hotel. The beds and bedding were comfortable. We had a room with 2 queen size beds and the room and bathroom was spacious. There is a nice size desk. It has 2 USB ports and 2 outlets on either side of the desk. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choices. The buffet was kept stocked with fresh hot food and was kept clean. The lobby has plenty of comfortable seating areas and even a beautiful fireplace. We would definitely stay here again ? I highly recommend this hotel!”
