“Easy in, easy out. Straightforward and friendly. $65 out the door. There were cheaper options with coupons but this is just clean and straight forward. They were upfront about the price when I called. Showed up, gave them the key, took a short walk and it was ready when I was back in 15 minutes.”
“Open on Saturdays 9am-3pm. It was $60 for a regular oil change. Simon (Asian skinny guy with the dyed brown hair) from the defunct 19th Avenue Quality Tune-Up is here. I didn't see any of his old crew also making the move as I used to be a regular at his old shop. He told me most went to other shops or have retired. It was nice to see Simon at least. It took an hour to do the oil change. He called me mid job that my engine and cabin air filters needed replacing. $90 (2 filters $55 and labor $35.) I said yes as I was too lazy to do it myself. It would have have taken too much effort to buy the filters myself and install it. ($22 for the engine and $10 for the cabin filter Amazon prices.) There was a slight mishap as they charged me for a synthetic oil change whereas I only got a regular oil change. The billing mechanic (not Simon) messed up. I caught it on the receipt and they had to refund me $26. Otherwise good job everyone at Sunset 76 Auto Repair. Be sure to check your receipt.”

“Cheapest gas prices in the area. I always try to time my fill ups to stop by here when I'm driving to SF. Often there is a short wait. Convenient immediately off the freeway as you're driving south 101.
Because it's so popular, sometimes it can be a little nuts. I have more than once witnessed people block the other cars either by parking in the middle lane or just sitting in their cars in the one way lanes without actually pumping gas.
Also have issues with the fact that the pumps don't seal properly, so I can't lock it to continuously fill - I have to stand there and hold it. This is the only gas station I have been to with this issue.”
“Nice, very clean, and new! The only thing I would change is the hours! I wish they opened earlier. I would rent a storage unit for tools, but 9:30 AM is just too late to have to go for work tools. They would probably get more contractors. The hours are kind of a turn-off.”

“Nice service. My tires were low on air pressure so I used the machine to top up. Unfortunately the hose reel is stuck at the moment so you’ll only have about 4 ft of hose to work with. That being said, the attendant was very helpful and came out to make sure I was alright.”
“Guy the smog tech had no problems doing the smog test for my 1990 VW Corrado since 2018.
*Edit 2026* Guy has retired before I could do my smog this year. New smog tech is friendly. Unfortunately their machine is down with no timeframe when it will be working again. Looks like I'll have to look some where else and it's becoming much more harder for us that own something that needs rolling road tailpipe smog at a star station.”

“I was passing by and when I saw the lowest gas price, couldn’t resist not pumping gas here. I don’t think I have seen anywhere else in San Francisco and its vicinity with lower gas price than this place. The quality of the gasoline was good too. Some places, when you pump gas and the super unleaded feels like regular unleaded. So far this location has been good in the octane additive sense.”

“We stopped at this station when we noticed our air light was on. We quickly realized there was a bolt in our tire. When we asked for assistance, they kindly and quickly removed the bolt, then patches the tire. All in 30 minutes and the day after Thanksgiving. We were grateful for their prompt and efficient service!”

An unassuming gas station/snack haven with very friendly customer service. Let me start by saying, I can't believe I'm reviewing a gas station, but this one is special! They (unexpectedly) carry an eclectic array of snacks from all over the world. They stock the viral peach ice cream! I have been able to try Ukrainian Creme Brûlée here! Japanese candy, Korean ice cream, German cake, Japanese soda, so much fun. ?
Customer service is top-notch. The store is very neat and tidy. The guys are so friendly and sweet. Love this place”
