“A great find in San Rafael! I was visiting the local area for the sixth time in 16 months from the east coast and I finally took time to visit this incredible store that practically doubles as a sanctuary for many belief systems. So much to choose from in a range from crystals to large lawn ornaments. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable! You can have items you find shipped to your home if you don't want to carry it home with you. What a great local gem for those in Marin county!”

Ricardo will remain San Francisco’s legend. He was really a great person, giving generously his time and his heart to the community: whether by doing danza Azteca shows, helping public school fundraiser dressed up as a luchador or taking my son as a guest to a powwow of Bay Area Native Americans. What a tragic loss! I hope we all make sure that the store keeps providing livelihood to Ricardo’s loved ones.”

“I was exhausted and in pain after a long walk from Parnassus so the let me use a wheel chair. The Etruscan exhibit is exceptional. It lays bare the claims by a number of archaeologists regarding “inventions” by Greece or Rome that, in fact, were borrowed from the Etruscans. This museum should not be overshadowed in your trip to San Francisco!”

“Revolution 9 is such a cute shop! I stopped by yesterday for the first time in about ten years. It was nice to see how very little had changed in all the ways that matter. Going down the list: Attentive customer service? Check. Excellent selection of fun, nerdy, and political gifts? Check, check, and check! If you have Star Wars, Tolkien, Harry Potter, or Studio Ghibli fans in your life, Revolution 9 is a great place to shop for gifts. I got my fiancé a funny "Greetings from Tatooine" postcard and found a My Neighbor Totoro insulated lunch bag for myself. I love the friendly and welcoming vibes here and will be sure to wait less than ten years for my next visit.”
“I stopped in while looking for a mahjong table and was pleasantly surprised to find exactly what I needed here. Service was quick and straightforward, and the owner was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the process. English was not their strong suit, but it honestly did not matter at all. Communication was easy, and the service spoke for itself. The table itself was a little overpriced, but for the sake of not having to pay for shipping, I thought it was worth it.
The shop is located on Grant Avenue among a lot of the more tourist-focused stores, so it would be easy to walk past without realizing what is inside. That said, once you step in, it becomes clear this place carries a lot of authentic goods and is not just another souvenir stop. The selection feels genuine and practical, especially if you are looking for traditional items rather than novelty gifts.
Overall, a great experience and a reminder that some of the best spots are the most unassuming. If you are in Chinatown and looking for something specific or traditional, this is absolutely worth a stop.”

“Got 2 basket planters here for $22 each that was perfect for my large plants. They did not have a large selection of plastic grow pots or drainage trays (minus 1 star), but nice pots and very kind attendant. Also had a good selection of basket planters that were handwoven but a little out of budget for me.

“The shop owners are amazing and really really friendly! I have weird tastes in jade and was able to custom design every single one of my ten pieces at a really good price! The shop owner was super patient and showed me a lot of options for ping an kou from many different regions
The selection they have is absolutely amazing in scope, quality, and their love of jade really shows!

We were visiting from South Carolina and this wonderful man gifted my wife some children's books for her elementary school students when he found out she was an educator. His wife is a talented author and her books are amazing.
The store had so many cool items and trinkets that were fairly priced. If there is anything you need from your visit to Sausalito this is a must stop.”
