“The coolest shop in North Beach run by the best people who built an amazing inventory of the most diverse, fun, and unique gifts - art, clothing, jewelry, home goods, all the things! Everything is so thoughtfully sourced with so much from independent artists + designers, making visiting a special experience. Support them and you support artists who work hard to be active, positive members of the community speaking up for what's right.”
“They have a wide range of scents and price points. Great customer service. Very relaxed but also organized. My house and the houses of my family members are now filled with their products - can't wait for the body fragrance products to come out!!!”
“All the taxidermy and bones freaked me out a little bit but lots of great merchandise and helpful staff. Great if you're into to this sort of niche interest.”
“Loads of product to explore. It’s a great spot to shop for gifts for yourself and others. Reminds me of items I’d find when visiting my family in Mexico. Did my Christmas shopping here this year and my loved ones were so happy with their gifts.”
“The cutest little store with TONS of cat merch and lots of it from local artists! It can be a tight fit inside, but make sure to check all the corners and under the counters to see everything.”
“The Shell Cellar at Fisherman’s Wharf is a unique and charming stop. Packed wall-to-wall with shells of all shapes and sizes, it’s fascinating to browse and feels like a little museum-shop hybrid. A fun, quirky place to explore while walking around the Wharf.”
“I can't believe this shop is still open! I thought it closed down several years ago! I used to make my mom take me here for my birthday every year in HS because they had great Paul Frank and. Emily the Strange items! So many good memories.”

“There are so many cool facets about this store and it was very hard for me to leave! I felt very welcomed as i viewed everything in the store and it was just so nice in there”
“It was great to see items from the shows in the store and own a memory. We were able to find some unique gifts for friends and families. The staff is knowledgeable, patient and efficient.”
“If you haven't stopped into Jessica's shop on Union Street, do yourself a favor and do it soon. It's not just a great spot for beautiful and unique gifts, but the know-customers-by-name small town vibe is just fantastic.”
“Please support this wonderful store and the family: Connie and her children as they grieve sudden passing of Ricardo- the store’s owner and a loving husband and dad. Ricardo will remain San Francisco’s legend. He was really a great person, giving generously his time and his heart to the community: whether by doing danza Azteca shows, helping public school fundraiser dressed up as a luchador or taking my son as a guest to a powwow of Bay Area Native Americans. What a tragic loss! I hope we all make sure that the store keeps providing livelihood to Ricardo’s loved ones.”
“I stopped in while looking for a mahjong table and was pleasantly surprised to find exactly what I needed here. Service was quick and straightforward, and the owner was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the process. English was not their strong suit, but it honestly did not matter at all. Communication was easy, and the service spoke for itself. The table itself was a little overpriced, but for the sake of not having to pay for shipping, I thought it was worth it.
The shop is located on Grant Avenue among a lot of the more tourist-focused stores, so it would be easy to walk past without realizing what is inside. That said, once you step in, it becomes clear this place carries a lot of authentic goods and is not just another souvenir stop. The selection feels genuine and practical, especially if you are looking for traditional items rather than novelty gifts.
Overall, a great experience and a reminder that some of the best spots are the most unassuming. If you are in Chinatown and looking for something specific or traditional, this is absolutely worth a stop.”

“They always do such a fantastic job building out the gift shop for each exhibit. It’s a nice mix of exhibit related items and other things like plates and clothes and books and toys.”
“Amazing gift shop for traditional Chinese souvenirs and clothes! We went around Chinatown looking for a tiny Chinese coin purse and came across many places where the quality and price were not worth it. However at this shop, the prices were extremely affordable and quality was better than anything we have seen.We really liked looking through all the Chinese decor, clothing and souvenirs. The store owner was very friendly and welcoming. We came in looking for a $1 coin purse and left with $100 worth of merchandise. Extremely satisfied!”

“Cute little gift shop with a good collection of jewelry-rings, necklaces, earrings. Also have T-shirt’s, sweaters, gift cards, everything at a reasonable price.”
“Got 2 basket planters here for $22 each that was perfect for my large plants. They did not have a large selection of plastic grow pots or drainage trays (minus 1 star), but nice pots and very kind attendant. Also had a good selection of basket planters that were handwoven but a little out of budget for me.
Really cool store and had more designer planters than other shops in SF”

“This place is amazing. I can't tell you enough about it to give it justice. Also the staff is also amazing.
I moved to Miami and still order their essential oils and get daily compliments on how good I smell!
If I could give more than five stars I would. I do miss going into the store as they definitely have the vibe check down.
I am a customer for Life.”
“The cutest little card shop that has a bit of everything. I love this place and try to come whenever I’m on Valencia! They have THE BEST CARDS! I’ve also gotten candles, socks, jewelry and many many stickers!”

“i've been to pier 39 but never noticed this shop. Well this time I did so glad this shop has many cute items like Buda statues, elephant decor, inscens. if you are into those items this store is a must. As far as price i found it right on par. The lady working there is so nice she takes time to explain things if you have a questions. One thing is that be careful some item are fragile. I would defiently come back to visit again.”
“Underrated crystal store! I went to 5 other crystal stores before this one and this was the best choice in my opinion. It’s off the beaten path and a lot quieter, which allowed me to focus better on my crystal shopping. Nice employee who helped me.”
“Love Open Editions... As a local maker, they are one of the best companies to work with and support local makers within the community. Awesome Store with the best selection of artist designed goods anywhere in SF.”
“I went to this store to get help with my shoe's sole falling out. The employee there made a great effort to help me by giving us tape and rubber bands to hold up my shoe before I can get a proper repair.”

“What a wonderful experience. I wandered into this store after a recommendation from a colleague. I was seeking a particular item, stationery for letters and envelopes. As soon as I entered, Danielle welcomed me with a smile and offered to help. She listened carefully and brought me a wide selection of products to choose from. Each package had a different theme with cards, stickers, and envelopes. I was so pleased with the price and cute factor of all the products. Danielle invited me to explore the store after I made my selection. There are so much fun gift ideas from coasters to bags to women's clothing. During checkout, Danielle explained the history of the store, shared other locations around the Bay Area, and promoted the fact that this store is Female and family owned. I look forward to coming back to explore and recommend you do too! Until next time.”
“I love 3 Pillars. It is a mecca of cute, creative, artistic items such as tshirts, hoodies, totes, stickers and more. There is also great artwork. Everything is representative of S.F. and the Asian influence in the City. I want to own and/or gift everything I see in this shop. I love stopping by here when in Japantown and I never leave empty handed. The owners are so friendly and helpful. This is a must shop!”

“This was our first time at this fun store. We were drawn in by the colors and openness of the layout. Jordan was funny and helpful in pointing out details in some of the merchandise. We bought two stress relief toys, but eyed so many items we want to get next time. Highly recommend checking it out!!”
“Small gift shop with lots of cute, curated goods! I was able to purchase some goodies for friends. They also had tiny prints each available for $1 in quarters. You can Venmo the store and they will give you quarters for the machine!”
