“Inviting atmosphere. Friendly and welcoming owner. Very easy to navigate and lovely selection of merchandise. It’s my “go to” place and I love traveling the GG Bridge to shop and to consign my clothing!”
“Lang’s is the perfect shop for 1920’s art deco, art nouveau, and Edwardian one of a kind pieces! Elizabeth was amazing and extremely knowledgeable! She helped us find the perfect unique engagement ring?”
“Maybe the best customer service ever. Maciek and team were so kind and accommodating to me -- even when I drove to the wrong showroom to drop off my item! I've bought lovely pieces from them and look forward to continuing to do so.”
“Local legends!! Vacation is tops. They have stuff in all price ranges so if you're looking for a little trinket or to drop some $$ on something really nice and unique, you couldn't find a better spot.”
“The owner Phyllis is an absolute delight of a human! Awesome selection of curiosities and antiques from over 150 years ago. Amazing service; what a wonderful neighborhood gem!”
“I called and visited many top vintage clothing boutiques looking for a Nehru jacket (with a mandarin color). The essential centerpiece of my Halloween ? costume. Everyone suggested I visit Held Over. And they were right! Unique items well organized with a friendly and fun staff. I'll be back!”
“I had the pleasure of discovering, buying from, and selling to, Relic Vintage on Haight. The owner Oran was great to work with. Everything went smoothly. I got the outfit I needed and reduced my closet load with very satisfying results. Don't hesitate to shop, buy and/or sell to Relic Vintage.”
“Just scored a great new 20 degree Nemo sleeping bag and can’t wait to use it. I’ve been fortunate enough pick Derek’s brain on fishing, remote spots, car camping and deep back packing. It’s a treat to spend time in the shop and I always come away with gear I love that holds up without breaking bank. Some of the gear and pointers have led me to the experiences in these photos. Goldens at 9k feet.”
“This is a stunning place! Both the Marin location and the San Francisco location. It is easy to spend a lot of time viewing everything. Staff is wonderful and they can arrange deliver for anything. Take a look you will be glad you did.”
“I have been buying and selling clothes here since their first location at Red hill shopping center years and years ago. It's not surprise that Stella's is still in business, the shop is beautifully curated with fantastic prices and service. Laura and Amy are the best and there are many days that I rock head to toe outfits from Stellas. They are dog friendly and you can see some of their collection by following their instagram.”
“Isso is a neighborhood staple! Despite the proximity to Valencia and Dolores, Isso manages to have affordable pieces. Many of the clothes are sourced and hand tailored to make original garments, or are otherwise lovely vintage pieces. I’ve gotten 2 pairs of jeans/ trouser from here - both were under $20 and are two of the most complimented pieces in my wardrobe! Super unique, chic, sustainable place to shop :)”
“An absolutely charming little shop with a great selection of new and vintage clothing, home goods etc. The owner was very friendly and kind. I highly recommend this boutique when visiting beautiful San Francisco!”
“Amazing shop! Such a great selection of very well curated clothes, along with originals from the owner! Who is the sweetest person ever
Love it!”
“Love Street is a great spot to shop for fun and unique vintage clothing and accessories. Their collection of Zuni and Navajo jewelry is amazing. They have designer brands and non designer brands-- leather, wool, silk... mostly items for women but some cool things for men too. It's worth stopping by and exploring the treasures here. The lady at the counter was super sweet! We left with a nice cashmere dress, elegant yet stylish, and a plaid Pendleton wool shirt... both under $100 each and with zero blemishes. Great quality, decent price, fun and relaxed vibe.”
“I love this store! There are only a handful of consignment stores on my (West) side of SF, and I like to shop here. Also I like to consign the clothes that I no longer wear here. Yes, its kind of hit or miss to find good options in my size and style....but its always interesting to interact with the owner (Jane!) and other customers - huge variety of people shop here.....Many people I know are fans!”
“Seesaw has been my go-to for many years for both day to day but also and especially those infrequently (for our life) used items like dressy clothes for my fast growing children. I’m a buyer and a seller and have only had the best experience.”
“I love relove! I almost always find an item that I must buy every time I visit, so I need to limit myself from going too many times.
They have a wide selection of curated and unique vintage items. The pieces I purchased here have really added a flare to my wardrobe.”
“I love this store- very sweet staff and good stuff but here's the thing ...I've now come here twice when they are supposed to be open according to their posted hours and they're not open. So I have come all the way across town to pick up a wish order and look around and they're not open. :(”
“I think I have found my favorite second hand clothes store. I visited a few days ago and they had a really well chosen selection with items in great condition. Prices range from being priced to buy on impulse to special occasion designer purchases. (that’s a good range)
This shop is quite relaxing to be in and browse and the owner and staff were very kind to me.”

“This is the cutest place and everything is adorable! They have great clothing brands including shoes and accessories! I was in consigning some things today and walked out with two great pieces! Highly recommend and they are very friendly!”
“A wonderful little shop filled with treasures. Clothes, jewelry, scarves, toys, books, knick knacks, buttons, beads, aliens ... there is something in every nook and cranny, all in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. ?”
“This was truly one of the best shopping experiences I've had in a. long time. Large selection and incredible curation of designer pieces that were surprisingly reasonably priced. Nice display and organization to the store so it felt really fun to look through instead of overwhelming. The staff was friendly but laid back. Great customer service is getting more and more rare, and I feel they really have a genuine care for the experience here. Will definitely be back next time I am in San Fran!”
“Very nice store. Glad it was open until 8pm on a Friday unlike so many other stores on this street. I found a beautiful dress to wear for my baby shower for $45! Yay! It was a great find.”
“We were so pleased with Remoov. The process was incredibly easy to get an estimate online and schedule a convenient day for pickup. The 3 gentlemen who came to take the furniture were very professional and courteous. They were gentle with the furniture as well as quick. How easy they made it look! All with a smile on their faces. We highly recommend Remoov to anyone.”
“Had a great first experience consigning and buying at Mary's today. She thoughtfully went through all the items I brought in and nicely explained what she was looking for and what she picked and why. You have 60 days for your items to sell and just need to come back into the shop to get your check. I shopped around after and got an adorable linen dress for under $30! You can't ask for a much more from your neighborhood consignment store!”
“Great selection.. dope staff (the blonde lady was crackin me up.. “oh you should see my holds back there, ughhh I’m a shopper”…. Hahaha.. loved it.Will add photos of a couple good deals I got during their 50% sale!! Did find an original Kansas City Kings Button and being from KC and having a brand called “RetroKingsKC” this was an AWESOME find for me!!!”
“I love the vintage selection, including key chains and pins! We are visiting San Francisco but I’m born here and raised in the bay! It was nice and nostalgic for me to find some gems that I get to take back home with me in San Diego.”
“No Shop was the last place we went to on Valencia street that day. We were tired, thirsty, and getting hungry. I have to admit that I didn't really go through the racks here as I enthusiastically did a couple shops before this one, so this is on our list to revisit a next time. They seem to curate some fashionable labels here.”
“I’ve come in here a few times lately, and have always left with something unexpected and cute— last weekend it was a gift for a friend (a silver ring with a green stone) that the helpful woman behind the counter helped me select. Yay for Shimmer!”
“This store is absolutely so great. The selection here is wonderful and loved the variety. Parking was easy to find and employees were friendly!
Ian, I believe who runs the men's store, was super friendly and sociable. He was incredible positive and talked to everyone he met. If you're seeing this Ian, I'll come back and get that Green Jacket from Nepal if you can discount it! :)
I was specifically shopping at the mens store across the street, and they have higher quality items than most thrift / consignment stores. Lot's of cool items, not just clothes.
It's purely interesting, and worth the stop!”
