“Heather and Lynn were very helpful with visiting cats and kittens and extra careful about tracking anything into the younger kitten areas. No pressure to pick any certain kitten/cat and easy application process. My kitten was sent home with new toys, new small blanket, food. Paulet made sure I had medical history and even foster mom's summary and thoughts about my new kittens personality and attitude. Would definately recommend them.”
“I started coming to LBM in 2022 after I moved to the area. I’ve been practicing meditation for 10+ years. The teachers at LBM are unlike any I’ve ever met. They teach with great compassion and love. The wisdom and insight they possess is truly inspiring and transformative.
Long Beach meditation is a place for both new meditator’s as well as longtime practitioners.
Additionally, the teachers and members of this organization have become like a family to me. Everyone is so warm and welcoming.

“This place is full of so much heart and soul, I'm so glad we have something like this in the area now. I used to pay something like $40 to visit one in LB and they made you leave after an hour. It's only $20 here which is very reasonable in the cat cafe/lounge world when compared to other ones. I've literally brought my laptop in here for hours and the volunteers are happy to see it and don't mind you staying long. They just want you to enjoy the cats and for the cats to be happy. Its easy to see that. They also do bingo now!! I'm very excited to see what that's about. Anyway here's a collection of pics from my recent visits”

“The gym is clean and well appointed. I like my trainer. My only beef is with the hours. They close at nine except Sunday, when they are open 11-4. I like to work out after work, but if I'm not out the door by 7:30, forget it.”

“Great space for small events. Parking structure is small so hosting a big event may be complicated here, but for the event I attended and was a vendor at, it was just right. Any bigger and it would have been a bit crowded.”
“I'm in love with this aquarium!! It's such a cool experience where I get to just have fun. It's really nice to just relax and chill out with friends or family. I love seeing all the different animals and I swear I learn something new every time I go!! It's usually around $50 per ticket which is pricey for me so I don't go too often but when I do I feel like it's totally worth it. I've only ever gone to the aquarium but I'm looking forward to checking out the whale watching one of these days! I feel like there's a whole bunch to look at and it tends to look really fancy to me. I highly recommend checking it out once! The employees are kind and there's a couple that seem super into showing all the cool things these animals can do which is great! I love learning from someone who is passionate about their job!”
“This place was recommended by a coworker. My baby kitty needs to be neutered. Luckily the appointment was pretty fast. Dr. Matthews was fantastic, she answered all of my questions and was very nice to recommend my pet to also get chipped while being under. At checkout it was very convenient to pay on line so no more lines were required upon picking up my pet. The nurses explained even more about my cat's surgery and what to expect. Everything was great, excellent service. Thank you sooooo much everyone!!! Highly recommended :)”

While I value Banana Republic (BR) and own a high-quality blazer purchased years ago in NOLA, I have observed a decline in fabric quality in recent retail stores. “Every Saturday and Sunday at seven am there is an alcoholics anonymous meeting that takes place here and I really enjoy going it's got nice people coffee and free donuts”

“My wife has been going to the Alzheimer's Family Center 5 days a week for about a year now. I am so grateful for the excellent service and safety AFC provides. I am kept informed of any upcoming changes of the food menu and of events. Feel wonderful that I can leave her there for about 5 hours while I go and catch up on chores to do. Would highly recommend for anyone who is getting overwhelmed as a caretaker and / or needs help placing a loved one in a safe environment.”

Intermission and all, it’s over before you know it – and you wish it wasn’t.The professionals at ICT know what they are doing. They have out-done themselves this time.”

“HPP Cares took on an overwhelming task in Fall of 2022 with the CalHFA ADU Grants. Although they had to adjust and at times had poor communication or conflicting information, they came through and provided us with all the help and support needed. They took on clients from throughout the state and were able to successfully expand to accommodate. They have adapted well and running a smoother program. Hopefully they can accept new grant funds and clients with the State's additional funding to help more people. Thanks to everyone at HPP Cares!”
