“GREAT place in Seal Beach! Room was huge, quiet and beautifully decorated, making ot feel closerto a luxury hotel! Great lighting, a desk, sofa and coffee table. There was also a kitchenette with microwave and mini fridge and sink which I appreciated for washing my Stanley cup before reuse. Water pressure was great in the shower. Free parking and complementary breakfast and a very friendly and accommodating staff. Linen refresh and bed service every day to top it off!”

“Don't stay here expecting modern amenities. Do stay here if you want a glimpse of the past. We stayed in one of the Family Suites with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Room was clean and comfortable, but walls are thin. You will definitely hear your neighbors so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Exploring the ship was amazing. By staying at the hotel on the ship you can basically explore 24 hours a day if you're so inclined. My only negative is that vegetarian/vegan food choices among the various dining options are very limited.”

I also had the pleasure of being assisted by Rune, who was kind enough to drive me on an errand. He was incredibly accommodating and made the task completely stress-free.

“This hotel is fantastically located just steps away from Sunset Beach. Right off of Pacific Coast Highway. It’s also extremely well priced for such a great area. Keep in mind that this is a very basic hotel but we found it very clean and very friendly and very comfortable. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a great budget deal and an amazing location.”

“We enjoyed our stay! Staff was friendly any time we seen them. The rooms are a bit noisy during the day time with all the traffic but once it gets dark then it’s not bad at all. You do have to walk down the street a bit to get to the traffic walk to get to the beach access but it’s not a bad walk at all and beats paying for parking. Plenty to eat around there and we did order pizza too and it was easy to get. Thanks for the hospitality!”
“What a gem! I stayed for 4 nights and was so happy I chose to stay here over a faceless hotel chain. The location is fantastic, just about a 10 minute walk from the beach. The house is lovely, with antique furniture, historic photos of Long Beach, and just an overall cozy vibe. If you're charmed by historic homes, this is your place.
My room was comfortable, very clean, and had all that I needed for a pleasant stay - including an adorable little iron and ironing board! Staying on the south side of the building, there was a little bit of street noise from Broadway, but I put in some earplugs and slept perfectly fine. I had a key code for the front door and my room, which takes away the worry of losing a key or key card.
As a big morning breakfast person, I was so happy to start each day with Pat's home cooked breakfast. The spread always included a small dish of cut fruit (not just melons!), toast, a savory entree, tea, coffee, juice, and cereal. Best of all, Pat was so nice to talk to!
Very highly recommended.”

“I had a wonderful experience staying here and wanted to highlight just how great this hotel is. The property itself is very nice—clean, comfortable, and welcoming—and I always enjoy staying here.
What really stood out during this visit was one of the employees, who was incredibly kind, informative, and genuinely helpful. Khan went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, which made a big difference in my stay. He also helped with any accommodations, quickly.
The rest of the staff was also consistently friendly and accommodating, creating a warm and positive atmosphere throughout the hotel. On top of that, the breakfast is both good and super convenient—definitely a great perk.
Overall, this is a place I truly enjoy returning to, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Thank you Khan!!!”

“I stayed at this hotel for a week and was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. It's not fancy, but it had everything I needed—hot shower, decent Wi-Fi, and a good location close to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was simple but fresh. For the price, it was definitely good value. I'd stay here again if I'm in the area. Just keep in mind like any hotel the prices for the pantry snacks & drinks are pricy per the convenience factor.”

“Not the newest building but modern and very well maintained, everything worked though the available TVs were slow and its cable content was limited. A/C was great, breakfast bar is small but well packed and they constantly restock from the back - classic Continental - scrambled eggs, bacon, cereal, toast, bagels, waffle maker. Parking is tight, not fit for larger SUV or van, however most people are dropped off by rideshare so it isn't full.”

“I had a wonderful experience at this hotel, and one of the highlights was the incredible service provided by the front desk team.
I thought I had left my laptop charger in my room, so I called the hotel in a bit of a panic. The person who answered the phone was incredibly helpful and reassuring. She didn’t just take a message or promise a callback—she immediately checked with the housekeeping team to see if the charger had been found. When she learned that the room hadn’t been cleaned yet, she took the initiative to personally go up and check the room herself. Shortly after, she called me back to let me know that she wasn’t able to find it but that they would continue to keep an eye out and notify me if anything turned up.
It turns out my charger was in my luggage the whole time (oops!), but her effort and responsiveness made a lasting impression. She was genuinely eager to help and went above and beyond without hesitation. This is just one of several moments during my stay that showed how much the staff cares about their guests.
Kudos to the front desk team—you made my stay even more memorable!”

We stayed at Hotel Current a few years ago and the experience was wonderful. Across from the Golf Course and close to great shops and restaurants. Fantastic pool and parking available.”

Everything here is great! Check in, rooms are always clean, laundry room, weight room, pool, bistro, lobby, hallways and even the elevators!
I checked in and there was a long line, employee Ms Mavis always stand out! She handled it with calm, smiles and just handled it with greatness!
Thank you Mavis and staff! We will always be coming back, and always will choose this hotel over any!

“I stayed here for business mid December. The property is located next to an outdoor mall with several food options, and a Wal-Mart. The hotel seems pretty outdated. The rooms appeared to be refreshed with carpet and paint on the wall. The bed was very comfortable. The hallways were pretty noisy even being at the end. A few commenters stated they thought the water pressure was very low, I disagree. It was very powerful and HOT! The outdoor hot tub was very nice to enjoy after a long day in the office. I did not try the pool. Two of the 3 nights I was here, there was a huge gathering in the conference room, which made parking difficult to find. On a side note, almost getting hit by a DeLorean in their parking lot was kinda...neat. I don't think I'd stay here again. I thought I was pretty centrally located for my office visits, but I wasn't. Be prepared for the $19 a day paid parking. You could easily park across the street or in the neighboring business area for free.”
