“Love this place — exceptionally well stocked with any and every tree, bush, plant, flower or supply you might need for gardening nirvana. We get our fruit and veggie seedlings and advice here on the regular — the results have been great and tasty, and they have extremely helpful and friendly staff, A+ experience every time.”

“I have been regularly using this TAP Plastics location for the last year, for large orders for work: Manager Nicole Mellom, Adam Mumm and team have always been VERY kind, professional, knowledgeable and helpful with my orders and communicative regarding their status. I couldn't be happier with their service.”

“Came into the store to have a copy of my car key made because the original was really worn out and I was having issues starting the car. The staff was exceptional and super helpful. “Ideal hardware in Forestville is a great little store and a great alternative to the big box stores in Santa Rosa I just went by to get some keys made today and the service is friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of just about anything you could possibly think of toys for kids, hammers, tools, plumbing fixtures you can get keys greeting cards. They’ve got it all. It also has really nice handicap access and handicap parking out on the street, so it’s easy to access if you want to support your local stores this is a great hardware store to go to. I go here all the time.”

“I've been shopping at Friedman Brothers since the 70s. They're not the huge version of a little country hardware store that they were then, where if you dug around a bit you'd almost always find what you needed, even if it was dusty and a decade old. But they still have pretty much everything that two big box stores have, for a competitive price and if there's a reasonably priced item at Friedmans, Lowes, and Dumb Depot, I will always choose the local business, where most of our money stays local and we support a business that supports us.”
1000 American Way, Windsor CA 95492
“Online review. I can see products but just keep getting messages that they can't be added to cart. One of the most difficult websites to try to buy things from. Wilco is a little closer so I sometimes go there because the website is not allowing items to be added to the cart. I have an account and used to be able to order online and have delivered. Please fix this. I have tried to order several times in the past few weeks.”
1201 Piner Road Suite 300, Santa Rosa CA 95403
“Harbor Freight has come a long way! Their selection of tools and related materials, gadgets and storage solutions grows and grows. The store is well organized and seems to be fully stocked. Associates are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended!”
3240 Dutton Ave, Santa Rosa CA 95407
“Small welding project. I have a stick welder at home but it’s been a very long time. Guy there, Carl made suggestions and changes that improved my idea and made it simpler. Price a little on the high side but done quickly and professionally. Definitely recommend if you have a metal fabrication project. The primed parts are what was added to make my skid steer fork holder work on my farm tractor 3-point hitch. I did the primer and paint to keep the bare steel from rusting.”
3610 Copperhill Ln, Santa Rosa CA 95403
“These guys are great. I was torn between buying all my lumber at Home Depot or buying it at Golden State. Golden State had a lot more of the unusual stuff in stock, and Mark was extremely patient with me, which I really appreciate. Prices were comparable to Home Depot and he said they have better lumber, so I went with them. A wonderful guy name Davy in the yard spent an hour and a half with me while I meticulously picked out about a hundred straight and mold-free pieces. Im super happy with the lumber and I’m happy and grateful for their expert, patient help. When was the last time you could say that about Home Depot?”
2551 Guerneville Road, Santa Rosa CA 95401

“So this wonderful supply store has those items in life you never new you needed, of wish you didn't. Waddles, sand bags, etc things you end up needing if you live in Sonoma County after a while. Courteous, Helpful and well versed in all things industrial, Omar was understanding of my needs for water barriers at my home. I felt much more confident in my DYI storm management and I feel the prices for what I got were fair and a lot less expensive then I imagined. Really very inexpensive but effective . I received personal service again in the yard when Chris delivered to my truck the waddle and sandbags. Top notch business and staff, great prices and a fantastic resource when it comes to inclement atmospheric rivers!”

“My home garage air compressor pressure switch failed so I ordered the one for my Central Pneumatic but when I installed it I found the "updated" unit's vent connection had been rerouted and the existing tubing was not long enough. Diddly! After 2 days of frustration in phone calls and buying the wrong material tubing that softened and blew out A-1 Compressor was suggested. I had never heard of them. I called and after listening to my dilemma they simply said we have some nylon on the truck, come-on over. When I arrived they handed me the critical 2' of tubing, no charge, and then took the time to answer a question on the vent system I had. They were just being nice and felt my pain. So, would I take my work to them? For sure! They expected nothing from me but what they got is my respect and high commendation for (not-even-a) customer caring and service! Thanks guys!”

“What a stellar experience, A-Z. Working on a DIY walking path project, a task that I had no experience with, for a wonderful non-profit organization (a Buddhist Monastic community in Sonoma County who walk bare foot around the grounds, and so, we needed to take extra great care in creating a level, smooth, safe walking path”
