“Had a very bad scare with our dog Romeo getting into a bug poison on a Sunday. With the local vets full we made the hour drive to them. Even with it being late, they were all very friendly and helpful. I was made to feel very welcomed. They each explained the processes as it happened and blood work was done so quick. My children were even treated like family. Thank you so much.”

“I had a very sick chicken that was trying to die. I took her in and EVERYONE there was so kind and helpful. Dr Maskey is knowledgeable and caring. My hen has been on antibiotics and has made a full recovery! She went back out to the coop today and is bright eyed and well!”

“This is the best veterinary office I've been to. True concern, compassion, and care for our friends. Doctors recommendations were blood work-ups as an option but to instead try a few things and see if the symptoms got worse or better. He saved us a bundle and helped our cat get better. The only "problem" is that they are too popular. It's difficult to get appointments and they only have one Vet it seems who does surgeries in the afternoons. So, if you work a M-F 9-5 like I do, you will have to take time off to get your pet in to the Vet.That aside, I wholeheartedly recommend this clinic.”

“Dr. Smith got me in last minute at her Carmichael office for an emergency with my green cheek conure, who consumed something while out playing that made her ill and very lethargic. I was extremely worried and anxious and Dr. Smith and the clinic's receptionists handled everything really well, with so much kindness and patience. She went above and beyond with testing to make sure I was confident in the diagnosis and it was safe to bring her home. It was also extremely affordable - I have been to both Roseville Bird and Pet Clinic and the UC Davis veterinary school and paid literally triple for much less. I could not thank or recommend Dr. Smith enough.”

“I can't say enough about the professional and caring team at MarketPlace Veterinary Hospital. My elderly chihuahua was attacked by another dog and the wound got infected. This caring team saved my dog's life. Recently, we discovered that she has a treatable disease. Again the vets and team had empathy, care, knowledge and worked in tandem with me to provide my pupper with involved care.No doubt, I highly recommend!!!”

“I can't say enough about this facility. From start to finish I felt like my two cats were treated with the best of care. I initially made appointments for them to get neutered and in the time I made the appts to the surgery day, one of my cats had injured its leg. The staff and dr were so good and evaluated the situation and were able to fix his leg same appt. I am sure this is not always the case but the fact that they even offered to help and not turn me away for additional appoints almost made me cry. They truly have the pets best interests at heart. The follow up appt was so great too, with the dr even explaining the healing process in more detail so I wouldn't worry about the time it takes for the cat to be back to normal. They are quick and efficient and don't try to sell you on unnecessary services or products. The facility isn't new and fancy which I personally feel is why they are able to keep costs reasonable. (spay and neuters are a fraction of what it costs at other places which I know because my other cat was spayed at another facility in Folsom 2 weeks prior for triple the price and it was a horrible experience prompting me to come here) It has that small town family vibe and for the first time in many years, my experience was so amazing it prompted me to actually leave a review!”

“Our new vet since moving to town. It's so close we can walk to the office. The staff is friendly and helpful. The doctors are also great and very knowledgeable. I'd definitely recommend this place.”

“I would recommend them for their compassion and professionalism, but be aware of the fees.First off, all the staff were very compassionate as we had to put our little girl down. A Shitzu/Yorkie, she was only 9lbs by that day and 17.5 years old, but she had a great life. I am very grateful to them for that. However, I am not happy about the $60 exam fee I was charged (in addition to the $406 euthanasia/cremation charge). When I went to pick up her ashes, I tried to dispute the $60 fee (I was in no shape to do so the day we put her down), I was told the fee must stand. When I had called to ask if I could bring our girl in to be put down, they said yes, but they would have to do a "quality of life exam". I of course said, 'OK whatever you have to do".When we arrived, a tech asked why we thought she had to be put down and what had been going on the last few days and she took some notes. The Doc then came in and explained how the process would go. Before she was leaving the room, I asked "don't you have to do an exam?" She looked at me kinda funny and said she'd check her heart before and after applying the drugs. So no exam was done.Upon my dispute, I was told because they had not seen our little girl before, they reserved the right to say no to the euthanasia and that was what the $60 fee was for. Basically, an 'OK to euthanize fee'.This is crazy and not right by me. If an exam was needed/done - OK charge the fee. No exam - no fee in my book. This seems to me for $ only.”

“I absolutely loved our visit at EDH Pet Clinic. They took the time to really get to know my cat, asked great questions, provided insights that haven’t been suggested before and had a clean nice smelling office. I wouldn’t change anything:-)”

“Dr Raymond is the best Veterinarian, who loves animals and has a kind demeanor. This clinic is for low income, people living on disability like myself. And other instances. He has helped my pets and myself out many times.”

“This review is for Jeannette, the most compassionate tech we have ever met in all the years we have had our boy Sheldon. She cared for him with so much love when giving him hydration, injections, and blood draws. Unfortunately, our sweet boy did not make it out of his illness and we had to let him go just a few days later at MarQueen. ?”

“This is an amazing veterinary practice. The veterinarian I saw, Dr. Richards--a U. C. Davis Veterinary School graduate, was incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. I was impressed from the moment I walked into this clean and well-run facility. The staff was polite and caring. My wait time was short, and Dr. Richards took her time to examine my dog and discuss his condition and the plan of action for treating him. Tucker has issues with skin infections likely due to allergies. I know Dr. Richards will determine the root cause after we get his infections cleared up.If you live in the area, it is well worth your while to take your pet to this clinic. It is my understanding that they are fairly new to the area, and it's taken a little time to get the right staff in place. If you've been there before, you really should go back and give them a second chance. I predict that pretty soon, this practice will be full.”

“I had to put my kitty of 14 years down. The employees and Dr. Are very nice. And gentle with my kitty Angel. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot. And 1 handicap parking spot.”

“The most loving caring Vets I have ever known. I had to put down one of our fur kids and our regular vet was going to make an appointment out one week. Airport Vet took us right in. They made my fur kid feel comfortable with an injection to relax him before putting him to asleep. I have never seen this before and I was impressed. Euthanasia with respect and dignity. Rest in peace our little Sammy, we love you so much”
