“From the moment I called the Jeep dealer, the super friendly and helpful operator forwarded me to the next door car shop - Boulevard Collision Center. I spoke to Matt, who was also very personable (gave me tangible hope) and I went in the same day for a quote. Richard took on my case and it was smooth sailing from beginning to end. I really appreciated how friendly they were and that they took the time to explain the fixing process (dent and several paint scuff lines) to someone who gets quite intimidated by any sort of car shop as I'm not very knowledgeable myself. The breakdown was clear, the options were explained, the timeline was realistic, and the communication with updates on when the car would be ready was consistent and honest. If they said they'd get back to me at 2pm, they'd do so. Overall, great customer experience AND of course the car looks brand new. I would definitely recommend them and hopefully, I don't have to return for something I did to the car again haha”

“I picked up my car today and WOW !!! I couldn't believe it I visited a few different Autobody Shops for competitive quotes. Gerbers front desk and customer care welcoming area felt good and the view of their neat highly organized shop made me feel confident they were the right choice. That feeling lasted through the whole process. Their on site accessment of actual damage, professional adjuster/body shop communication and skilled "attention to detail" group of talented professionals made it possible for the excellent workmanship resulting on my 2004 Nissan 350z.Thank you guys ! can't tell you how much I appreciate it !!!(Trina, Natalie, Andres, Martin and everbody else)Hank”

“My car had a minor accident that damaged the front bumper, windshield, and front lights of the car. I reported the incident to my car insurance (AAA), and they gave me a list of their vetted shops. Caliber Collision in Signal Hill was one of them. I was helped throughout the entire process, and happily received my car two weeks early! Thank you CC!”

“My 2008 Tacoma was in desperate need of some suspension work. I recently moved to Long Beach a few months ago and a good friend of mine recommended this Shop. Jesse (manager) took my truck in and performed an inspection and called me within a couple of hours to present me with my options. Jesse was professional and they did great work! I can perform U-turns without having to outmuscle the steering wheel now. Highly recommend this place.”

“Called Hot Rods and Hobbies made an appointment with them for 8:00 am August 2, 2016. I got there around 7:20am and waited for them to open up. I met with Scott and explained why I was there, I have a 56 Ford, F100 that I have had for 2 months, and that a while back while the guy who was charging my air conditioning system had her out for a test drive, the right front rim came off the studs! My regular mechanic took care of the necessary repairs, and made my truck drivable. I talked with the guy who built my truck and he said make sure she is drivable and bring it to him so he can see what all was damaged. Well that was on a Tuesday, I sent Whitwood Shopping center, so could he give me til the following week instead. I took her to the car show and had a great time. I hadn't heard from my builder, so I just waited to hear from him. Then I got nervous, so I decided to find a hot rod shop (a disinterested third party) and have them inspect my truck as well as look at the problem I experienced. I told Scott this, he puts her up on a lift and performs a 45 minute inspection. He got me took me where she was and explained each notation he made on a sheet of paper. He told me that the truck was a solid build and that there were no major problems with here. This made me feel greatly relieved. He did point out some minor things, like tightening of bolts, a leaky connection on my brake line, 2 blown rear shocks that needed replacement. Scott was very clear on the things he was telling me, and made me feel greatly at ease, I explained to him what I was going to do, and stated that if my builder blows me off, that I would return to Hot Rods and Hobbies to make the necessary repairs. When I got there, all the guys coming in to work, were really friendly, said good morning, looked at my truck made positive comments. Scott introduced himself to me let me tell him my story, asked me to hang out in the lobby, and proceeded to make his inspection of my truck, he gave great customer service, the rest of the staff as well gave great customer service, they made me feel that this is the right place to get work done on my 56. If you have a custom vehicle and are looking for a place that will give you great work and you don't want to feel like you are getting taken for a ride, then I highly recommend going to Hot Rods and Hobbies. Also, if you are looking to get something build from scratch, then this is the place. You won't regret coming to Hot Rods and Hobbies.”
