My husband and I had a blast roaming the property the staff was so helpful this younger gentlemen who helped check us check out was helpful but surprised us with a little gift!!! I am beyond grateful and will be back for the amazing smelling rosemary and Mexican sage and add it to our garden. Thank you for making our day! :)”
“The dude working the Xmas Tree Lot with the epic handlebar mustache was such a peach!! Let me have the Christmas Tree lower branch trimmings they'd neatly collected in a basket. I upcycled all that lovely greenery, giving it new life in the form of a wreath! Many tree lots (and basically every company in general these days!) want to nickel and dime every person for every last cent and will charge for these cuttings; others will waste this small but precious resource just tossing these beauties in the garbage. Not everyone has the time or skill to custom make a wreath and would prefer to buy a wreath ready made for them. Home Depot and I happily fit into the middle of this: no wasted tree trimmings, no ridiculous up charging, no need to buy some mass produced wreath, just a lovely day spent outside making something cool out of something saved from the landfill which I hadn't needed to pay for and feeling grateful! Thank you handle bar mustache guy at Home Depot!”
“This is a Superstore and is larger and has more variety/stock then typical stores. Online pickup can be a little confusing. If your item is in a locker, those are located just inside the main entrance. If you are doing curbside or larger item not in a locker, that is located on the East side towards the back of the building. Love their plant selection.”
“The Nursery by Southwinds is a total hidden gem of Irvine, highly recommend! Perfect for a small natural escape from the urban landscape of Irvine with beautiful well kept grounds and a huge variety of plants, for purchasing plants are always in hearty condition and extremely reasonably priced, staff is extremely friendly and welcoming always as well! “HEY - somethings going on good at this Home Depot - I have never met so many top notch people for a long time. “Trying their compost out for the first time, used it as a top, mulch layer. So far so good. I'm sure it will do alright since it's applied to the top (composts will kill most plants if you plant directly into it).”

While looking in the 3rd location, Mitchell offered his assistance. This was definitely

“I wish I found this place when I moved to Lake Forest 30 years ago. Owner is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Prices are over 1/3 less than what Home Depot, Lowes and other Orange County nurseries are charging. Plants are very healthy with a good variety. I highly recommend this nursery. Enjoy the canyon drive on your way there.”
