We went in store looking for a philodendron/vine-y plant and a nice pot to give as a gift and spent a long time deliberating—must have spent over an hour in the store. Nearly that whole time Brenda was helping us make a decision or offering plant care advice and presenting us with new options! Have never met someone so patient and knowledgeable. We left beyond satisfied with our purchase (pot + plant) which she also potted for us in-store!!

“I just had the best customer service experience and had to give a huge shoutout to Brian! His level of service is beyond impressive and truly stands out—something you won’t find in 99% of stores. He went above and beyond: he offered to clean the saucer I was buying, gave me a discount because it had a small chip, and even used a Sharpie to cover it up! Brilliant move. He suggested I could touch it up with black nail polish if I had some, offered paper to wrap it in, and even delivered it to my car! Talk about exceptional service. “If you do DIY projects every so often but don't want to spend a ton on tools or supplies, Harbor Freight is the best option.
This particular location is always well stocked and very easy to find items. If you need help, every associate I have spoken to is extremely helpful and friendly.
The store is kept neat and tidy and everything is clearly marked, which makes finding stuff very convenient.
If you do plan on buying items, definitely look at their online mailer. The coupons they offer make the inexpensive tools and supplies even cheaper, which is crazy!
As I said earlier, if you are the occasional DIY'er, the quality of the tools and supplies will be more than sufficient to use. It might not be the highest quality but for the majority of novice and intermediate users, you really can't go wrong with any of their products. And for the price, I'll skip the name brands and go with Harbor Freight.”

“I had trouble with my Husqvarna 450 Rancher chainsaw brake. I disassembled the brake assembly and tried to fix it myself but there was no way. I looked up four shops within 10 miles from home and set out to see who could help me out. So glad B&M was my first stop. Saturday just before closing time Joe took the assembly I brought in and tried for 15 minutes to get it working but there was a strong compression spring that obviously needed a factory tool to compress, line up and install. We looked on the web site and found they only sell the entire assembly which confirmed Joe's thought that it needed to be assembled at the factory. We ordered the parts and the estimate he gave me for the assembly was extremely fair. His employees had locked up and gone home but he stayed and finished up with me. His son even stayed around and chatted. They were both genuine people. The store was well stocked, clean and organized with everything a pro or homeowner like me could ever need. This place is benchmark for how to run a business.”

“This Home Depot on N Tustin Street in Orange has a well-organized store and a really nice garden section. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable, and it was easy to find what I needed. I picked up several plants, including some colorful flowering plants and succulents, and they had a good selection at fair prices. “We had a group event of 30 guests planned to come and celebrate my sister’s 50th birthday. The sun catcher workshop was unique, relaxing and creative. It is held on an outdoor patio. The tables and materials were organized and ready to go upon arrival. Beth is a patient, communicative, and supportive teacher! Any time I had questions leading up to the event, she was quick to respond. She was very accommodating. Everyone said they really enjoyed it! Beth gave step by step directions. The product came out beautifully! Only 25 guests were able to make it so Beth gave us 5 take home kits. The cost was very reasonable. Parking can be tricky with large groups, but everyone found a space. I highly recommend doing this with a friend or as a group event! You will not be disappointed! It is totally worth it! “The dude working the Xmas Tree Lot with the epic handlebar mustache was such a peach!! Let me have the Christmas Tree lower branch trimmings they'd neatly collected in a basket. I upcycled all that lovely greenery, giving it new life in the form of a wreath! Many tree lots (and basically every company in general these days!) want to nickel and dime every person for every last cent and will charge for these cuttings; others will waste this small but precious resource just tossing these beauties in the garbage. Not everyone has the time or skill to custom make a wreath and would prefer to buy a wreath ready made for them. Home Depot and I happily fit into the middle of this: no wasted tree trimmings, no ridiculous up charging, no need to buy some mass produced wreath, just a lovely day spent outside making something cool out of something saved from the landfill which I hadn't needed to pay for and feeling grateful! Thank you handle bar mustache guy at Home Depot!”

“I just love Armstrong Nursery during the holidays! And I was so glad I was able to sign up for their fall make and take class! We made a beautiful mini pumpkin with succulents. They had plenty of supplies and the instructors were all so nice and helpful! I need to be sure to keep my eye out for more classes. They were also so kind to have Starbucks coffee on hand for us!
Once I finished with my class, my hubby and I walked around and enjoyed looking at all the beautiful plants and pottery!”
