“I have had great experiences here.
We don't live in Solvang but I much prefer this hardware to the Home Depot near us. The staff is helpful and friendly. There is always an employee nearby to answer questions and help you find what you need.
The garden department is small but beautiful and with a good variety. In addition, when I have asked about specific species or a different variety than they have in stock, they have been quick to offer to order that plant for me, which has usually arrived within a week.
The plants have always been good quality. Unfortunately I have to replace some of them this year because of the evil gopher army that has overtaken my yard but I plan to line the holes with cayenne pepper this time. Although that will probably just give the gophers a taste for spicy food.
My hot lips salvia that I bought here is going on three years now and about five feet across. It is a huge draw for hummingbirds and bees.”
