Enkidu Wine is a boutique Sonoma winery located on Highway 121 in the beautiful Carneros region, minutes from downtown Sonoma. The tasting room offers a very relaxed and delightful atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating, including a beautiful courtyard and an elegant barrel room with hardwood and stone. The patio is a great place to relax, have a picnic, and enjoy a laid-back wine tasting. The winery is known for high-quality wines that are aromatic, expressive, balanced, tasty, sophisticated yet approachable. They produce a wide range of wines including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Grenache, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and the Humbaba Rhône blend, as well as a Port. The wines are memorable, stand out as different, and are considered a bit of a bargain given their quality and price point. The winery sources from some of the best local growers. The staff is wonderful, enthusiastic, friendly, very knowledgeable, and professional, providing personable interactions that contribute to a great experience. Tasting Experiences include vineyard and production tours. A tasting is $35 per person and the fee is waived for wine club members. Walk-ins are welcome Thursday through Sunday from 11am to 4pm, with appointments set aside for club members on other days. Charcuterie plates, almonds, bread, olive oil, fig jam, and cold water are available. The winery has a national website for orders and loves to host visitors for a fun and relaxed afternoon.
