Obsidian Wine Co. | Tasting Room offers a fun and laid back wine tasting experience with great quality, phenomenal wine. It is a hidden gem among Sonoma wineries with an unassuming look. The ambiance, especially the outdoor seating on a beautiful day, is absolutely perfect. Tastings are a super cheap deal for the quality and include the backstory and history behind each bottle, which adds to the experience. The service is amazing, better than other wineries, with staff that is extremely welcoming, comfortable, super funny, and pleasant. They are knowledgeable and passionate, making guests feel extremely welcome. The tasting room is also dog friendly. Reservations are recommended, though the staff is happy to make arrangements and can sometimes accommodate last-minute visits. Many guests love the wines and end up signing for a membership, highly recommending the place.
If you’re looking for a nice relaxing place to get a couple glasses of nice wine this is your spot. Great backyard feeling and the staff makes it feel like home. Ed is always wonderful to visit and every flight tasting always has something new to try.
