“I work next door to Top Dog. They are getting ready to expand to the suite next to the current location and the construction was a bit noisy. I went over to ask if there was anything we can do about the noise and they immediately prioritized the request. It’s not to often that you find businesses that cater to their neighbors like that! “Spectacular! I needed pine pellets (which I use for cat litter and I'm tired of paying premium prices because someone slapped the word "feline" on the bag). Thought I was going to have to drive wayyyy out to the farm store. Someone suggested I check this place out. So glad I did! Picked up several bags of pellets (40 lb bag goes for under $10) and got a 50lb bag of bird feed while I was at it. Pay at the counter, take your receipt outside to the helpful friendly folks with the forklifts, and they load it into your car for you.”

“Little Paws has been so good to my older Maltipoo. They've always done a great job with her grooming. Even as my dog gets into her senior years and she's become more cranky, they manage to cut her hair very nicely. Plus I love their no anesthesia teeth cleaning too.”

“Don't know why I've never been here before - I thought it was only for dogs! They have a HUGE pet food selection. I can get all the weruva cat flavors here. I was going to the Urban Pet in South Pasadena before finding this place (and btw Urban Pet is amazing, it's just further away from me but I recommend it as well). If you have a dog they also have a very cute and spacious self -service dog grooming area with sinks. Very comprehensive pet food store and friendly staff. 10/10.”

“Im very selective and this shop has not let me down. It a family ran shop with a really good selection of rare fish and plants and some reptiles(seasonal). If you want quality service come to this shop. Perfect for scapers tonnns of selections of substrate and foreground pieces. If you’re in Downey give them your money because it’s worth it.”
“I brought my dog in (65-70lb runty boxer mutt) for a nail trim last weekend. Waiting area is fairly small but service was fast and friendly. These groomers seem to have a good handle on the dogs and their business. There were multiple other dogs in for other services, so the place was as noisy as you'd expect but if you're reading this then you probably wouldn't mind that much. Paid approx. $25 after service with no wait time and no appointment necessary, YMMV. There's a walking trail next door and a donut shop across Lambert if you get bored or can't stand the waiting room.”

“I order 6 cakes here every year, one for each of my dogs birthdays and they have always delivered consistent cakes! My dogs love the cakes here and they have also tried their cookies and treats that are offered in the cases. The bakery also carries a small assortment of dog food, packaged treats, raw chews and dried chews, and many birthday accessories. There are many things here that are size appropriate for any breed of dog. I've gotten many little treats here for my dogs that range from 3 lbs - 16 lbs but I've seen people come in with their large breeds and leave with something for them.”
“This place is close to where I live and work. They have almost everything my cat needs. When they have specials, they're pretty good. A little pricey otherwise. I find the staff very knowledgeable about my cat's needs.”
