“My experience here was so helpful and wonderful. My consultant was Jenny, she made this process so fun. This was the first place we went to look into engagement rings because it was recommended by a friend and after our appointment I honestly feel like i don’t need to look anywhere else!! Jenny made me feel so comfortable and answered all the questions I had.
I loved the options that they had in the shop, they had a little bit of everything without feeling overwhelmed.”

“I have visited the store and the Artist Fair market as a customer and later as a seller of art. First of all the store on the first floor is one of a kind amazing. The various print artifacts could occupy you for hours; there are so many interesting things to see from the history of print, a huge spectrum. There is no other place like this. Mark and his staff were super friendly and helpful from the first time I entered the store.
In fact, that first visit, I chatted a bit with Mark and I left inspired to step out of my comfort zone and sell some of my artwork. 4 events later I did manage to in fact sell some of my artwork to my delight and amazement! Mark and staff are top notch in helping all of the artists and creators with the set up and make it seamless. They have created a welcoming and supportive community of artists and creators and it's been a wonderful experience! Thank you Mark, Jake, Israel and Melanie! ? -Kat (aka Katalina Art) ? ??”

“This is a MUST see, when visiting SF. It is one of the most unique antique and ephemera mercantiles I’ve ever been too. The owner Mark and his staff are incredibly knowledgeable and very kind.
It is like a museum you can interact with and purchase. I now have some incredible pieces I’ve added to my stationary and ephemera collection. Hope to photograph a wedding one day there. Such a beautiful event space where they hold regular artists markets.”
“Phyllis is the most beautiful soul, please pay her and her amazing store a visit. Such a wonderful store she has and amazing items she has in her store well priced.”
“The YES company brings three decades of organizational and event experience to the estate sale process. Kevin Black, the company owner, runs a well oiled operation, and enlists experienced staffers to move, organize, assemble by lots and type in order to create a 'store-like' environment within a home. Disposition and sale of items within our nearly 8,000 square foot home presented a challenge that was managed with efficiency by the YES company.
Mr. Black and company spent a full week ahead the sale to break down, re-organize and place thousands of small to medium sized items from our various collections onto sale tables; provided safety and directional signage through-out the home for the sale dates; helped to coordinate a nearby parking lot for anticipated crowds; listed the larger furniture items on-line prior to the sale, recognizing nearly 35,000 marketing 'hits', and staffed the five consecutive sale dates with his experienced team.
The YES company communicated regularly during the pre-sale process and during the sale week. The check-out process for buyers was seamless, efficient and safe, with all items leaving through a single, large exit from the home. The YES company also provided the boxes, packaging and bags for use by buyers in facilitating the post-sale departure. Our check reflecting the residual proceeds from the sale was processed expeditiously.
The YES company ownership and staff clearly demonstrate the experience and confidence in accomplishing the sale goals, and we recommend them for your estate sale requirements.”
“Yesterday, my husband and I stopped by Yury's to see if he could replace the cord on an old Hollywood Regency/Chinoiserie accordion fan lamp. I had accidentally dropped a heavy water bottle on it, breaking the cord in half. Yury was very friendly and helpful, and he was transparent about pricing. His estimate for just replacing the cord was so reasonable that we also decided to have him update the lightbulb socket and add velvet underneath the lamp to prevent it from scratching our furniture. He completed all the work in under three hours, and we picked it up later in the afternoon. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and plan to bring in another old lamp to have the wiring updated.”
“There’s a saying in the watch collecting world…don’t buy the watch, buy the seller. Thats because trust is paramount. Great family business and superior service. I bought a fabulous watch and now I have a new friend. I will not hesitate to buy from this family again. And you shouldn’t either.”
“These guys are one-of-a-kind, and unbelievably good. We have a Victorian home, and if you’ve ever tried to shop for Aesthetic Movement/Eastlake furniture, you know just how impossible it is. Enter Laurel Crown. We placed our first order with them to outfit our parlor using stock items from their website. A sofa, occasional tables, 4 upholstered chairs, plant stands etc. We were very pleased with all of it.
But while using it, we began to think about how we could better use some of their other items if we could customize some dimensions. So we contacted Lauren Crown about this, and they were very accommodating. Intrigued, we wondered just how far we could take this customization business.
For our next project we had our study and dinning rooms to furnish. For these rooms we wanted a little less Victorian, and a bit more Aesthetic Movement/Eastlake. When we asked, they told us to send some photo ideas. Well, of course we went right to photos of original Aesthetic Movement pieces, and sent them along. The photographed pieces we sent were exquisite and intricate. Their reply: No problem! Which naturally seemed too good to be true…
We went over dimensions and sizes desired, and a week or 3 later they produced detailed drawings for our approval. One of the pieces for the dinning room was a custom console with an under-mount sink. They told us to purchase the sink we desired, and mail them the sink cutout template, which we did.
The only thing a bit disappointing about Laurel Crown is their upholstery selection, which is pretty limited. But this was easily over come, as it turned out. They told us how much fabric would be required for the various pieces, and we were able to purchase great replica Victorian fabrics from Spoonflower. Spoonflower sent our fabric directly to Laurel Crown.
Finally we had the order all together, and we paid a 40% deposit. The fabric, sink template, and all the dimensions and photos then went off from California to Indonesia, where the actual furniture is crafted. I think they said it would be about a year.
It ended up being closer to 18 months. Covid probably had a little something to do with that. But yesterday the delivery finally arrived. It was all white-glove with 4 movers. It took a few hours to get everything in, but it was all done courteously and professionally.
The best part: The furniture is stunning! Every piece. Exactly as we wished for. And our chosen fabrics ended up being perfect for their desired rooms, something we’d been worried about…
The astonishing part: They never asked for the final payment! The furniture was delivered, the movers left, and we had to ask them for the final invoice. Who does that any more? That’s what we mean about Laurel Crown being very special. And speaking of money, the prices we paid were completely within the average of high-end furniture, -not for high end completely customized furniture. Amazing. We could not recommend a company more highly than Laurel Crown.”

“One of the best Incense vendors in USA. Seriously. They have very high quality incense, especially for people who don’t like the incense because it’s ‘Smokey’ - that’s because most incense sold is low quality.
The lady who runs the store guides you through the collection and has great tips on how to get the best out of incense.
Great for gifts as many of the products have lovely packaging.
One of the best finds when in San Francisco.”

“First time visiting this wonderful vintage store... The layout of the store is great, and the items are really lovely. Erika was super kind, helpful, and a pleasure to meet.
I'd highly recommend checking out her store! She has a pretty extensive jewelry collection, and quite a few other really unique items in stock, including some absolutely gorgeous vases! I really wish I had more room...
I'll definitely be back!!”
“Stag & Manor has a beautifully curated assortment of home decor and gifts, no visit to the Castro is complete until you stop in and meet their friendly staff...you're sure to leave with a treasure!”
“I had seen this place as existing in Pacifica. I hadn’t stopped by before two years ago. It was a little bit hidden away, so my experience going in was a bit of a surprise. I just assumed it would be a small shop with not that much inventory. But when I walk inside, I felt like I was in the end scene from the first Indiana Jones movie when he’s in a warehouse full of government treasures. This collection is awesome. And well curated. And well organized. Agreed that there isnt a large place to sit in a relaxed fashion and look at everything, but there’s nothing that the amazing staff is not aware of, and they can help find it. I love this place and have been back a few times. I realize now that maybe I shouldn’t even write this review and I should keep it a secret.”
“Amazing pieces at Galerie D’Edmond with a Great variety of periods and quality objects and furniture very smartly chosen.

“Mr. David restored our client’s cherished German Vienna Regulator grandmother clock to its former glory. Our dear 90-year-old clients are absolutely delighted beyond measure. We cannot speak highly enough of Mr. David’s exceptional craftsmanship, meticulous precision, and deep expertise. A remarkable talent and an even more extraordinary person. Mr. David’s calm and reassuring presence puts everyone at ease; an outstanding professional and an even finer person. Mrs. Jeannie is having a wonderful conversation with him as I’m typing. Just adorable to witness!”
“Known to be one of the best, if not the best antiques' store in the Bay Area. Great customer service, attention to detail in the merchandise that they carry, original, and true to the values of the vintage, re-used, and antiques community.
Highly recommended from someone who has been passionate about this space for many years.”

“Awesome place! I stopped by one day and discovered they were the former owners of a fantastic Antique Shop in Redwood City that I frequented often. That location closed during Covid but so glad I found them again! Wonderful things! Beautiful clocks. I collect antique phonographs and music boxes and they had quite a few. Stop by and browse. I'll be back again for sure.”
