“TFT is an amazing community! All the coaches are really supportive and can help you with any questions you may have. If you sign up for custom workouts, the coaches can tailor the workouts to your specific needs, ensuring that each class is both enjoyable and rewarding. Also, I loved that there are other fun programs you can sign up for throughout the year besides the together and custom classes.”
“I drop in every once in a while to lift at the Sports Palace and it’s always a pleasure! Jim is so experienced, is a good coach from beginners to elite and has a lot of stories to boot. I always appreciate learning about the history of weightlifting as a sport and Jim’s role in it. Recommend if you’re close to south SF and looking for a great place to lift with friendly folks!”
“FullGrip (FGBB) has a VERY special place in my heart, so it was not easy for me to choose what to write for a review. I am a person who is far from anything athletic/gym/training. Like I’ve “donated” enough money to various big gym franchises in my life 😆. It has been more than 1.5 years since I’ve been with FGBB and it is the only place I can keep going despite the city traffics. I was a total strength training newbie, but Mark and Cat were patient, accurate and professional to take me in and grow. They have vibes as those uncles and aunts lived in your next doors forever 🙂. If you are looking for a classic gym that you could find locally back in good ole’ days, don’t hesitate and just commit!”
“Absolutely love this gym! The equipment is well-maintained and the staff is super friendly. It's a great place to work out and I've noticed a real difference since I started coming here.”
“Fantastic selection of workout equipment. The entire 2nd floor is full of updated cardio equipment, including treadmills, bikes, rowing machines, climbing ladders, etc. The entire 3rd floor is strength training, with 3 full squat racks, a ton of free weights, and lots of other strength training machines. Locker room, showers, and sauna are also all pleasant to use.”

“I absolutely love this studio. Even though it is a bit farther than my home studio I still choose this one every time over the other options because I am located right in the middle of all of them and this one is always worth the extra distance. Parking is easy and plentiful and the fact that I can charge my car while I work out is such a bonus. The front desk staff is always attentive welcoming and genuinely kind. The instructors are incredible and I honestly prefer this team over the other OT locations in SF. Raquel and Victoria are standouts for me. They are consistently upbeat bring the best energy and make every class feel motivating fun and powerful with amazing music every single time. Danny also deserves a shoutout he is hilarious in the best way and makes class fly by. This studio just does it right. It is truly top tier.”
“Quite spacious gym located inside the office building at Tower 2. I recently signed up after leaving my primary gym. I had some must-haves when joining a new gym and this gym met it all. It's super clean, spacious, all the equipment I need. For public access, there are no weekend hours but M-F they're open 5am to 9pm. Bonus, there is also free parking.”
“Love this place! My 5 year old has been coming here for a couple of years. They do such a nice job making every class different and fun. He has never once said he didn't want to go, always looks forward to it. He also does a nearly perfect cartwheel already”
“I’ve been coming to Solis Boxing for the past 3 years with my son Max, and it has honestly been one of the best decisions we’ve made.
From day one, the environment has been welcoming, motivating, and full of positive energy. All of the coaches — Cesar, Danny, and Erica — are amazing to work with and truly care about helping everyone improve, no matter their skill level.
A special thank you to Fernando — he is incredibly knowledgeable and has taught me so much about the fundamentals of boxing. You can tell he’s passionate about what he does and genuinely wants to see people grow both inside and outside the gym.
Since joining, I’ve gone from 185 lbs to 155 lbs, and beyond the physical transformation, I’ve also seen a huge boost in my son Max’s confidence, which means a lot to me as a parent.
This gym is more than just a place to train — it’s a community. We’re very grateful to be a part of it. Thank you, Fernando and the whole Solis Boxing team!”
