“We came to the South San Francisco Event Center for my brother’s graduation party after looking at a few other venues. We met with Judy who instantly understood our needs and vision for our event. She was extremely welcoming and understanding from the beginning. Throughout the event process and party itself, Judy was easily accessible for communication, immediately answered any questions we had and jumped to fix any issues we had within minutes of notification. The staff at the event center were also extremely helpful, supportive and friendly which only allowed our party to continue smoother. We are incredibly grateful to Judy and her staff for providing us a stress free and easy process and allowing us to create such a memorable event. There is no one we recommend more highly enough for your events!”

“I've been coming here for years as I work nearby and it's one of very few dining spots in this area. The space is quite large and is great for hosting events. In the day time, the cafe and main dining area are open. In the afternoon/early evening, the other side opens which features a small bowling area with 2 lanes, a pool table, bar area with tables, and outdoor patio. Cafe - I highly recommend the lavender latte! This is hands down my favorite coffee from F&L. The cafe area has plenty of seating and plugs, so it's great for catching up in-person or working remotely on your laptop. The cafe also offers juices, pastries, Boichik bagels and breakfast burritos. Lunch - I don't have lunch regularly here but have enjoyed the fried chicken plate and BLT, which I believe are occasional specials. The F&L burger is also decent. Happy Hour - I like their crispy brussels and fries the best, but the lumpia is also good and surprisingly authentic!”

“One the best room I ever been! We rented this room our New Year Church service! We were able to have church in first part and we were able to have 400+ people in that room. We had a new year dancing time to celebrate the new year! The place has a bar area where we were able to serve water and soda! It also had a kitchen where we were able to cook food for over 400 people! There was a dance floor area and the wall decoration as you can see in those picture was very beautiful! I will recommend anyone to rent this place for any events”

“Perfectly situated in the center of Orange Memorial Park excellent views, spacious, perfect for your birthday party wedding reception are other small family gathering. With a fully-equipped kitchen perfect for your professional catering company. Three quarters of the room is all glass with great lighting and views but the ability to draw the shades for privacy”

“My coworkers and I wanted something quick for dinner so we decided to dine here. I was genuinely surprised that it was good. It's located inside the hotel and it faces the waterfront view which was nice. Now onto the food, the truffle fries were so good. I love thin fries and the truffle made it more delicious. I also ordered Karl the fog cocktail and that was refreshing. The burger was standard and their salad had this interesting dressing. It was citrusy and refreshing, but they can cut back on the sugar. It was citrusy but a tad sweet for my liking. Nonetheless, I was satisfied with my dinner. Definitely would return for the truffle fries.”

“Went to a wedding reception here. pretty easy to get to and it's not a bad site for a smaller party. they also have security on site, which is cool and all but they wouldn't let the smokers take their drinks outside. Not a deal breaker.”

“Everything was great, from the reservation, food, ambience, waitstaff. Place was clean , friendly staff, food were served hot, fresh and cooked to perfection(salmon, chowder, crab cake) Our waiter took the time explaining their menu, checking on us and attending our needs with smile and professional way. The ambience is simply lovely, romantic, beautiful waterfront and clean. A lot of parking .”

“Highly recommend K1 South SF! We booked the most fun 16th birthday race party (3 races!) for our son and his friends and they had a blast! Joseph from Group Sales made it so easy to plan. I filled out the online form and he called me within just hours and shared all of the options - he was SO knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. If you book ahead with the Group Sales team and have a party of 8 or more, you can make it a private event - e.g., it's just your party members on the track. While we did not opt for the party room & food - if you have younger kids where you want to host food onsite, the room/pizza/soda is a great deal!Thank you Joseph and team - for a really memorable and fun time!”
