“So beautiful I love that it's one of the few places in sd county in which equine are welcomed even having day use corrals
Restrooms: Two unisex
Dog-friendliness: It's huge and open. Obviously don't be a douche”

“I was pleasantly surprised at the work done on 6/24-27/24. The staff were professional and concerned about doing the work properly. They knew what to do, and wasted no time getting things done. They showed self discipline, and perseverance. I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you Campesinos Unidos”
“This place is above and beyond amazing! The staff is of equal caliber, AMAZING! I'm so thankful for all their assistance in helping me build a foundation for my life so that I have the ability to accomplish my dreams! Everything imaginable is at my disposal to guarantee my success! I'm forever grateful!”
“This place is so cool!! It houses ill and injured soldiers who are being released from active duty due to various circumstances. Each warrior gets a cottage to call home.
They are given the ability to get enrolled in college or a tradeschool,to play wheelchair basketball as well as hunt and fish. they are close enough to Balboa Naval hosp so they can get to and from appointments, they are mentored and guided all along the way! What a great way to honor those who put themselves out there in harms way. This organization also takes no government funding. everything is donor funded as well as lots of fundraising. They have an amazing volunteer force that gives of their time and knowledge to achieve goals. They are getting ready to launch Freedom Station 3 in August of 2024. This is just incredible!!!”

“Highly recommended for kids to experience a taste of the future. Fun atmosphere, banking and life tasks that are fun to do hands-on. Every school should have the opportunity to have the kids experience this fun learning adventure.”
“Recently, our family decided that our dog needed a companion. We found heart of gold shelter and visited them outside of tractor supply at an adoption event. At the event, our family met Jessica, and our new future pup. Throughout the process of introducing our dog to the puppies through shelter visits, and home visits, Jessica was very helpful and supportive. We appreciated the thorough process to ensure the new pup was a good fit for our family and vice versa. Our new adopted pup Leo (pictured on right) has been adjusting to his forever home amazingly well, and he has quickly become a part of our family.Working with heart of gold shelter was a fantastic experience, and I would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.”

“First time in the store. Super cute store. Easy to find. We found some great gems. It was my friend's daughter birthday. The staff was super friendly and excited we were celebrating a birthday. Birthday girl got 20% discount. The clothes are priced well. Very clean and organized. I'm so happy we found this place. We will definitely return to buy and make donations.”

“Pride is a protest, but it's also a party. And San Diego knows how to party. Pride weekend warms up with a high-spirited 5K Walk/Run, swells into a vibrant Parade, and finishes with a massive Festival at Balboa Park. It's non-profit and volunteer-run, but not the kind where you pity clap for school bands and cringe at another rendition of YMCA. SD Pride Fest is at least as well-organized as any for-profit event. The 5 stages feature breakout and underground artists who sound good, current, and represent the LGBTQIA+ community. The festival is set up on the Balboa Dr. loop which allows you to see all booths, vendors, and stages without having to double back. Does wonders for the flow of foot traffic. Free parking is only a mile away with shuttle service. The lines for drinks are shockingly short. They say they have 25 bars, and I totally believe it. The price is shocking too though at $25 for a double shot margarita, but it's a festival so.. Multiple ID checking stations distributing wristbands are conveniently scattered throughout. Pride is a party, but it's also a purpose. It's positive, uplifting, and affirming. The theme this year is Thrive!, a message that in the face of new adversities, standing on the shoulders of those who came before us, we can do more than just survive.”

“I am so so happy to have these wonderful people in my neighborhood! However…PLEASE STOP MAKING U TURNS AS A MEANS TO FORGO DRIVING TO CORNER AND DOING IT THERE. I HAVE ASKED SEVERAL PEOPLE IN THE NICEST POSSIBLE WAY (And you know who you are), WHOM I HAVE ALMOST HIT MIND YOU, TO STOP DOING THIS AS SOMEONE TURNING RIGHT THERE IS GOING TO HIT ONE OF YOU AT SOME POINT. So please, please, please stop doing this before someone gets hurt. Thanks from one of your fellow neighbors and supporters.”
“I have been to a couple distributors sights and most of the time I have to wait a hour in my car for a box of supplies. I went to the lemon grove distributor sight today by them and it was amazing the guy was so tentative to all needs helping everyone, I spent maybe 20 mins there and got more supplies then I could think of! Not only for me for my baby and even my animals. I am so grateful for their service and the care of their team. Thank you guys so much for helping my whole family today and thank you for future help”
“The peaceful atmosphere only exemplifies the joy of turning in one's retirement papers. It only takes a few minutes to have the documents stamped and made retirement official. Best day ever!”
“Today I was at an appointment with my family, I needed a certificate confirming pregnancy, and they helped me with this very quickly!
Very kind, I was really happy to be there, the people who work there are very sincere, truly kind, and it’s really important to them that you feel like a welcome visitor there.
It's important for them to hear you.
They gave us a blanket for the future baby and invited us to come to them for gifts when he was born - it was very nice and caring))
I was very pleased, and I was in a good mood all day thanks to this wonderful place. I will recommend the place to all women who need help.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart! ❤️”
“The East County Chamber has been a great way to connect with other business professionals here in the East County. There are plenty of opportunities to network (Even during COVID), and this alone makes the membership fees (very low for what you get) worth every penny to me. If you are a small business owner, or you work for a business in East County San Diego, I would highly recommend getting involved with the Chamber.”
“Great place with a more local hole in the wall vibe. You do need a membership or be a guest of a member to patron. The members are of all ages and are all good people. Drink prices are very reasonable and the bartenders are very nice. I recommend Kat's Tuesday night tacos, for only 8 bucks you get two good size tacos, chips, refried beans and a dessert. The eagles are a nonprofit, your membership money and donations go towards helping organizations and others in need. Being an Eagle is very special and it shows in the members. I 100% recommend.”
“Helping so many people feel safe and secure when the rest of our lives are in a jumble. The staff is beyond caring and kudos to the wonderful ppl who bring h bring us meals”
