“Went to visit this church recently this weekend and I thought it was very great. I went with some friends to a service and I thought the service was fantastic. The passer was very vibrant and energetic which really was great when it came to talking about scripture the sermon. The campus is huge. I like the seating in the auditorium and the aesthetics of the church. Everything down to the parking assistance to the ushers to children's ministry.
I do belong to a different Church in North Park but if I didn't I would definitely be coming here more often.

“I used to live in the apartment complex directly next to Home Start. The first time I noticed this store was Halloween 2018, a few hrs. before a last minute puppy Halloween party.
Not only did I find the CUTEST mermaid costume I’ve ever seen… but it was a complete set & not just random pieces of clothing someone decided to donate last minute vs. throw away.
Amongst that I found a gigantic stack of my favorite designer jeans— not only in my size, but in a plethora of styles (not just straight leg)…. Oh, & I usually pay about $200 retail for these jeans but every single pair i purchased that day & so on, we’re $4.
The women working here are so amazing & they really care & look out for their clients best interests.
I did unfortunately move but I always come back once a month for bag day! ?”
“The East County Chamber has been a great way to connect with other business professionals here in the East County. There are plenty of opportunities to network (Even during COVID), and this alone makes the membership fees (very low for what you get) worth every penny to me. If you are a small business owner, or you work for a business in East County San Diego, I would highly recommend getting involved with the Chamber.”
“I see bad reviews for this place and I disagree, staff was fantastic. Your kids get back what they put in. Excellent place for learning very basic introductory skills on business. It's not meant to be anything more than the basics. There are never enough volunteers for field trips like this but the staff did a great job filling in. Teachers have a lot of responsibility in the planning for this type of experience.”
“Love the place. They offer ice skating lessons for both kids and adults. After our first visit, I signed my son up for a class, 12 lessons and 12 guest passes for $288. I have recommended the class to several friends. They all signed up immediately. My son and I very much look forward to more skating fun.”

“I’m a veteran and member at 460 in Kearny Mesa. Popped in to 201 when my battery wouldn’t start my bike at the gas station. The bartender was so kind, she welcomed me to eat and drink and said I could use the electricity to charge and start my bike! I live in Lemon Grove and will be visiting again!”
“Recently, our family decided that our dog needed a companion. We found heart of gold shelter and visited them outside of tractor supply at an adoption event.At the event, our family met Jessica, and our new future pup. Throughout the process of introducing our dog to the puppies through shelter visits, and home visits, Jessica was very helpful and supportive.We appreciated the thorough process to ensure the new pup was a good fit for our family and vice versa.Our new adopted pup Leo (pictured on right) has been adjusting to his forever home amazingly well, and he has quickly become a part of our family.Working with heart of gold shelter was a fantastic experience, and I would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.”

“This place is so cool!! It houses ill and injured soldiers who are being released from active duty due to various circumstances. Each warrior gets a cottage to call home.
They are given the ability to get enrolled in college or a tradeschool,to play wheelchair basketball as well as hunt and fish. they are close enough to Balboa Naval hosp so they can get to and from appointments, they are mentored and guided all along the way! What a great way to honor those who put themselves out there in harms way. This organization also takes no government funding. everything is donor funded as well as lots of fundraising. They have an amazing volunteer force that gives of their time and knowledge to achieve goals. They are getting ready to launch Freedom Station 3 in August of 2024. This is just incredible!!!”

More fun than the ymca for sure. We’ll be back in summer. I also love to swim here! The pool is the perfect temp for me, very clean, and everyone is super friendly!”
“Great place with a more local hole in the wall vibe. You do need a membership or be a guest of a member to patron. The members are of all ages and are all good people. Drink prices are very reasonable and the bartenders are very nice. I recommend Kat's Tuesday night tacos, for only 8 bucks you get two good size tacos, chips, refried beans and a dessert. The eagles are a nonprofit, your membership money and donations go towards helping organizations and others in need. Being an Eagle is very special and it shows in the members. I 100% recommend.”
