“the ONLY place I trust with my cats. My cats are my reason for living, so I give them the best care and got them pet insurance. I drive 1.5 hours just to come here. I recently got my 3 year old's teeth cleaned, and they did an excellent job. I will say it was definitely more pricier than other places, but cats are notorious for hiding diseases that have fatal consequences, so I didn't want to skimp out on my cat's teeth cleaning.
I brought my other cat Anubis here and two other vets couldn't diagnose her and had already spent $1,200 only to be told they didn't know what was wrong with her, when she had a fever of 104 degrees. I brought her here, they give me the diagnosis in one day, and I had emergency pyometra surgery for my cat the next day (a condition in which a cat's uterus gets full of puss. I had just adopted her from a family being evicted, so she had never been to the vet before me and was already 3 years old.)
They give you updates when they are done as well, and follow up the next day. Absolutely exceptional service. My cats are everything to me.”

1. The staff is very friendly. Luis (Louise) is very knowledgeable about pet products and there's something that he doesn't know, he'll make sure to find the right resource for you.
2. They carry a whole variety of pet items - little fun trinkets and a variety of pet foods... their items cost less compared to other pet stores in SCV.
3. If they don't carry the product you need, they will order it for you and they will have it the next day.
4. Their customer service is great!”
“I was looking for an established vet for our little boston terrier, Dumpling. VIP checked all of the boxes and we scheduled a visit. We met with Dr. Roberts and she was absolutely wonderful. My dog got excited when she entered the exam room and Dr Roberts sat on the floor with Dumpling so they can get to know each other. She examined Dumpling for allergy issues and gave us a prescription. The whole staff was so sweet and accommodating! We just took Dumpling back to VIP yesterday to get spayed and met with Dr. Cisneros. He was very nice and did his pre-surgery exam on Dumpling and took her to the back. The staff reassured that they would call me when the surgery was completed and they did! Very professional, very compassionate, clean office and the staff is wonderful!! Couldn't ask for any better!!”
“Great local vet for rabbits! I bring my bunny here for regular visits and even some not so fun sick visits. They have been incredibly helpful, and kind every time I’ve visited. They are also quite versed in rabbit medicine, their second opinion on a diagnosis saved my rabbits life a few months back.”

“This has been my family vet for over ten years. The past three times I have called this clinic they were able to get me in same day. I've seen all three doctors in the past and today was one of our best experiences. I called this morning and explained that my dog was serious injured and hurt. They were able to make an appointment for us to come later in the day. We got there and the front desk staff were super helpful with getting background info on my pup. We saw Dr. H today for the first time. He was so gentle and kind with our scared pup. He was able to evaluate her and come up with a treatment plan to get her to start feeling better. He explained everything he was doing during our exam and was clear. My pup is now at home and resting on her way to recovery thanks to Dr. H.”
“Had to write a review on this place because of their AMAZING customer service. Today was my first day coming back to this clinic since I had another pet euthanized back in 2021. While that experience was heartbreaking the staff then and now has always been very kind and compassionate. To begin with the receptionist was very open and friendly, the vet technician Gabriel was very gentle and kind to my baby. Doctor Galdjian was helpful and honest towards my pet questions. I can confidently say they are in the right career field.”

“So grateful for Dr. Vanessa and her team. I have an elderly cat, who was really sick. I had difficulty finding answers as to what was happening with his health. I had gone to two vets before only to receive no answers, no medication, but also huge bills.
Dr. Vanessa was not only affordable, but gave me the right medications and diet changes that my cat has responded great. She was there for me and texted me very quickly when I was in dire need of a response. She also was there for me when I had to make the very hard decision to say goodbye to my 17-year-old cat. “This review is for Vetco Total Care.This year I have become a cat daddy. This was my very first kitten. Since it was a stray abandoned from its litter I wanted to ensure the kitten's health is well. Although I went to a different Vetco for my kitten's initial shots, I came to this location's Vetco to inquire about spaying. I am not sure if it was bad timing but I've had a difficult time find a spay/neuter facility that was accepting new animals. I reached out to many different places and resulted to no avail. My last resort was to go to Vetco and I honestly did not want to go this route as it was going to be a pricey one. But I did. I felt that my kitten should be taken care of before it goes into its first heat cycle. (not sure if this is really an issue or not)I made my appointment online with ease. Shortly after I received a call from the location and set up two appointments. First was for preop and the other was for the actual operation date. It amazed me how much further into the year we had to schedule but as I mentioned earlier, I wanted to take care of it prior to the kitten's first heat cycle. All the staff that I have met were nice and clear about any information or updates on my cat. We completed the preop and all that was left was the operation date. What I didn't like about the operation date is they set me up for an early time. There was no one at Vetco to greet me at the door as it was locked. I did see some Petco employees walking into the store but the store doesn't open for another 2 hours. So what do I do? While while waiting outside. I watched employees walk in. Asked about getting attended as I had an appointment. Called a couple of times but no one was available to receive my call. Then finally a Vetco employee walked up and asked if I had an appointment. From there I was attended to and made the kitty drop off. Later in the afternoon I came to pick up my cat and had some instructions to follow. A week later we came back for a follow up and my cat was doing great with her recovery. Other than the cost and waiting outside for some time to get someone's attention, I am pleased with the service and speaking with vet about any questions or concerns I may have had at the time.
